Yn stepped off the plane at Seoul's bustling airport, her heart racing with excitement. She had been away for what felt like an eternity, and she couldn't wait to see her husband, Taehyung. She had expected him to be waiting for her at the arrivals gate, but as she scanned the crowd, her eyes couldn't find him.
Instead, she saw Manager Kang and Ryan , Taehyung's trusted assistant and bodyguard, respectively. They greeted her warmly and escorted her to the waiting car. Yn tried to hide her disappointment, telling herself Taehyung must be busy with work.
As they arrived at the mansion, Yn was greeted by the entire staff, all of whom were lined up to welcome her home. They bowed and wished her a happy anniversary, but Yn's eyes scanned the room, searching for Taehyung. Where was he?
Maid Mia approached her, "yn, please have breakfast. Today will be a long day." Yn nodded, still searching for Taehyung. She couldn't understand why he wasn't there to greet her.
After freshening up and having breakfast, Yn attended to some calls. First, her family called to wish her a happy anniversary, followed by Taehyung's parents, who were out of town. They exchanged pleasantries, but Yn's mind kept wandering back to Taehyung. Where was he? Why wasn't he here to celebrate their anniversary?
As she finished the calls, Yn couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Something didn't feel right. She tried to shake off the feeling, telling herself Taehyung was probably busy with work. But the nagging doubt lingered, refusing to be dismissed.
Yn decided to distract herself by exploring the mansion. She wandered through the familiar rooms, taking in the decorations and the staff's warm smiles. But her heart wasn't in it. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
As the evening sun cast a warm glow over the mansion, Yn settled into her room, feeling a mix of emotions. She was still wondering why Taehyung hadn't greeted her at the airport or wished her a happy anniversary.
Just as she was starting to drift off to sleep, Maid Mia entered the room, accompanied by a few other maids. "Yn, Master instructed us to prepare you for the evening," Mia announced, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Yn's curiosity was piqued as Mia revealed a stunning red gown with full sleeves. Yn's eyes widened in surprise; the dress was exactly her style - elegant, sophisticated, and modest.
"This is beautiful," Yn exclaimed, her heart racing with excitement. "But why...?"
Mia smiled knowingly. "Master chose this dress especially for you, madam. He wanted to make sure you felt comfortable and beautiful tonight."
Yn's mind whirled as she realized the reason behind Taehyung's absence. "So this is why he didn't wish me a happy anniversary this morning," she thought to herself. "He was planning this surprise all along."
As the maids helped Yn into the dress, she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. What did Taehyung have planned for tonight? And why was he being so secretive?
With the dress perfectly in place, Yn gazed at her reflection in the mirror. She looked stunning, and for the first time that day, she felt a sense of belonging. Maybe, just maybe, this anniversary would be one to remember.
Yn's heart fluttered with excitement as she waited for Manager Kang to escort her to the hotel where Taehyung was waiting. She had no idea what to expect, but the thoughtful dress and meticulous planning had already impressed her.
As they arrived at the hotel, Yn's eyes widened in surprise. It was the same hotel where she had stayed during her training, the same place where she had first met Taehyung. She couldn't believe he had remembered such a small detail.
Manager Kang noticed her reaction and smiled knowingly. "Taehyung wanted to make this evening special," he said, as he led her to the rooftop.
As they reached the rooftop, Manager Kang bowed and said, "My work is done. Best luck, and happy anniversary." With that, he discreetly disappeared, leaving Yn alone.
Yn took a deep breath, her heart racing with anticipation. She walked towards the rooftop bar, where she saw Taehyung standing by the railing, his back to her. He was sipping a glass of wine, his eyes fixed on the city skyline.
Yn's eyes welled up with tears as she approached him. She felt seen, heard, and loved. Taehyung had gone to great lengths to make this evening special, to show her how much he cared.
As she reached his side, Taehyung turned to her, a soft smile on his face. "Happy anniversary, doll," he said, his voice low and husky. "I'm glad you're here."
Yn's heart melted at his words, and she knew in that moment that she was exactly where she belonged – by Taehyung's side.
