Four months had passed since their marriage, but the distance and tension between Yn and Taehyung remained unchanged. They were still living separate lives, their interactions limited to brief conversations and awkward silences.
Despite their efforts to move forward, the lies and misunderstandings continued to cast a shadow over their relationship. They both knew that they needed to confront the truth and clear the air, but neither of them knew where to start.
Their marriage was stuck in limbo, a constant reminder of what could have been if only they had communicated and trusted each other. The love they once shared was still there, but it was buried beneath the rubble of hurt and anger.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, Yn and Taehyung couldn't help but wonder if their love was strong enough to overcome the obstacles that stood in their way. They were running out of time, and they knew it. Something had to change, or risk losing each other forever.Yn's holiday had come to an end, and she was due to resume work in India next week. She felt a mix of emotions - excitement to get back to her routine, but also sadness at leaving Korea and Taehyung behind. Despite their complicated marriage, Yn had grown accustomed to being near him. She knew she had to focus on her career, but a part of her would always be tied to Taehyung. With a heavy heart, Yn began to pack her bags, preparing to face the challenges ahead and the uncertainty of her future with Taehyung.
Yn's hands trembled as she typed out the message to Taehyung. "Hey, I need to talk to you about something. I'm going back to work in India next week and I wanted to discuss our situation." She hesitated before hitting send, wondering if he would even respond.
The four months of silence between them had been deafening. No conversations, no arguments, just an unsettling quiet. Yn wasn't sure if Taehyung would be willing to break the silence, especially not to discuss their troubled marriage.
As she waited for a response, Yn's mind wandered to all the things she wanted to say. She wanted to tell him how she felt, how much she still loved him despite everything. She wanted to ask him if he felt the same way, if he wanted to work on their relationship.
But most of all, she wanted to know if he would be okay with her going back to India. Would he miss her? Would he even notice she was gone?
The uncertainty was suffocating, and Yn found herself questioning her decision to reach out. Maybe it was better to just leave things as they were. But something inside of her refused to give up. She needed to know where she stood with Taehyung, and she needed to know now.Taehyung's eyes widened as he read Yn's message. He had been dreading this moment, knowing that she would eventually have to return to India for work. The thought of being apart from her again was unbearable.
He felt a lump form in his throat as he thought about not seeing her every day, not being able to look at her, not being able to be near her. He was scared, scared of the emptiness that would consume him, scared of the loneliness that would suffocate him.
Taehyung didn't know how to respond. He didn't know how to put into words the emotions that were swirling inside him. He didn't know how to tell her that he needed her, that he couldn't survive without her.
So he did the only thing he could think of - he ignored the message. He hoped that by not responding, he could delay the inevitable, delay the pain of being apart from her.
But deep down, Taehyung knew that he couldn't avoid it forever. Eventually, he would have to face the reality of their situation, eventually, he would have to find a way to survive without Yn by his side. But for now, he just couldn't bring himself to respond, couldn't bring himself to say goodbye.Taehyung's voice was devoid of emotion as he spoke to Manager Kang on the phone. "I need to see James. Now."
Manager Kang's voice was hesitant, but he knew better than to question Taehyung's orders. "Right away, Taehyung."
A few minutes later, James arrived at the cabin, his expression curious. "What's going on, Taehyung?"
Taehyung's gaze was fixed on some point beyond James's shoulder. "Yn is leaving for India soon. I want you to go with her."
James's eyes narrowed slightly. "As her personal bodyguard?"
Taehyung's expression didn't change. "Yes. I want to ensure her safety while she's there."
The two men sat down, discussing the details of Yn's trip and James's role as her bodyguard. Taehyung's demeanor remained cold and detached, but James knew him well enough to sense the underlying tension.
After a long discussion, James nodded. "I'll go with Yn to India. I'll keep her safe."
Taehyung's gaze finally met James's, his eyes cold and hard. "See that you do."
As James left the cabin, Taehyung's mask finally slipped, revealing a glimmer of emotion. He felt a pang of sadness, of loss. But he quickly suppressed it, his expression returning to its usual cold, detached state.
He stood up, his eyes scanning the cabin as if searching for something. But there was nothing there, just the echoes of his own thoughts. Taehyung knew he had to keep his emotions in check, for his own sake and for Yn's.
The silence in the cabin was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of Taehyung's own breathing. He knew he had made the right decision, but it didn't make it any easier. He was losing Yn, again.
