The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. Tay and New were already up, their excitement palpable as they moved around the bedroom, gathering everything they would need for their trip. It was a day they had both been looking forward to—a day that marked the beginning of their long-awaited honeymoon. The thought of finally having time to themselves, away from the pressures of work and daily life, filled them with a giddy anticipation.

Tay was meticulously organizing his suitcase, his usual composed demeanor softened by the smile that wouldn’t leave his face. He carefully folded each piece of clothing, making sure everything was in its proper place. His mind wandered as he worked, imagining the adventures they would have in Paris, the city of love. He could picture them strolling along the Seine, exploring the charming streets, and sharing romantic dinners in quaint cafes. Every detail mattered to him, because this trip was not just about relaxation; it was about creating memories that would last a lifetime.

New, on the other hand, was less concerned with organization and more focused on making sure he didn’t forget anything important. He flitted around the room, pulling items from drawers and shelves, occasionally tossing them into his suitcase with a carefree abandon. His excitement was infectious, and every now and then, he would stop to show Tay something—an outfit he was particularly excited to wear, or a small trinket he insisted they bring along for good luck. Each time, Tay would smile indulgently, his heart swelling with affection for New’s playful energy.

As they packed, they couldn’t help but exchange little glances and smiles, the reality of their upcoming adventure sinking in. Tay watched as New struggled to zip up his overstuffed suitcase, the sight bringing a chuckle to his lips. “Hin, do you really need to bring all of that?” Tay teased gently, moving to help New with the stubborn zipper.

New looked up at him with a mock pout, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Of course! I want to be prepared for anything. Plus, you never know when you might need an extra pair of shoes or a different jacket.”

Tay laughed softly, shaking his head as he finally managed to close the suitcase. “You’re impossible,” he said, but there was nothing but fondness in his tone. “But I guess that’s part of why I love you so much.”

New grinned, leaning in to give Tay a quick kiss. “And I love you too. Even if you’re way too organized.”

They continued packing, the atmosphere light and filled with a sense of shared excitement. New, having finished with his clothes, started gathering other essentials—his favorite snacks, a small stash of sweets, and, of course, his camera. “We have to take lots of pictures,” he insisted, holding up the camera with a determined look. “I want to remember every moment.”

Tay nodded in agreement, already envisioning the scrapbook they would create together after the trip, filled with photos of their adventures and mementos from their journey. He could see it now: a book of memories that they would treasure for years to come, each page a testament to their love and the life they were building together.

As the morning progressed, their suitcases grew fuller, and the room became a flurry of last-minute preparations. Tay checked their travel documents one more time, making sure everything was in order. New, meanwhile, double-checked their itinerary, excitedly pointing out the places he wanted to visit and the experiences he was most looking forward to.

Finally, with everything packed and ready, they both stood back to admire their work. The sight of their neatly packed bags brought a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. Tay reached out, taking New’s hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Are you ready?” he asked, his voice tinged with excitement.
