{SEASON 3 EP. 9}
crystal arrives at cobra kai, she walks in with tory, Aimee and hawk, the first person they see, is robby, "hey cris." robby says, crystal just ignores him, puts her bag down, she walks over to kreese and robby "what's he doing here?" crystal asks, "is that anyway to talk to your brother?" kreese asks, "he's not my brother." crystal says bitterly and walks back over to tory and aimee.
"that's her brother?" aimee whispers to tory, "damn i'm gay but-." aimee whispers so crystal couldn't hear, tory just chuckled at her, robby walked into the back room and crystal rolled her eyes and followed him knowing they needed to talk.
"robby." she says, he quickly stands up and faces her, "cris?.. what's going on with you?" he asks her, "what do you mean?" she says, "that whole thing, you know i am your brother.. he pauses, is this about the school fight, i hurt your boyfriend and now i'm not your bother?" he says, "what, no it's nothing like that.. your mom told me something while you were in juvie and now i found out i've been lied to my whole life, and everyone in my family knew but me." crystal fake laughs.
"oh, she told you about your mom?" robby asks, "yeah she did.. i know you knew so why didn't you tell me?" she asks, "i found out two months before the whole karate thing," robby starts, and he sits down on the bench, "i was going through this box of stuff mom never let us touch, and i found your birth certificate, it had your fathers name on it, but it also had another name for your mother." he explains, he pauses for a second trying to remember the name on the certificate.
"pheobe barnes." he tells her, "that was the name that was signed under mother, and then there was another birth certificate, and on mother it had our moms name on, and your fathers.. i also found mine, and my birth certificate was signed on 04/02/2002," there was a long pause, "oh, wait mom lied about your birthday?" crystal asks confused, "yeah.. i kinda already knew that i wasn't born a year before, cause you know, i think i'd know if i was held back a year, and because we were never in the same school mom managed to lie and say that i was held back a year."
"but then it wouldn't have made sense, for one there isn't nine months between February and august," crystal says, "mom said that you were a premature baby, and yeah..." robby says, "oh, why didn't she just say that to me and not lie saying that you were meant to be in the year above and you got held back a year?" crystal asks confused, "i have no idea, i don't know what she was thinking when she said that." robby laughed, crystal smiled at him.
"hey look, i'm sorry about the whole thing back there, just cause we don't have the same parents you know you're still my brother," crystal says quietly, "i mean we spent our whole lives thinking we were siblings, i'm not gonna stop cause of some lie." robby says and pulls his sister into a hug, crystal hugged back and the two of them stayed like that until robby spoke up.
"why cobra kai, if you wanna get back at your dad for lying i'm pretty sure your dad hates miyagi-do still." he says, "yeah.. that probably would've been better but i- uh kreese came up to me like right after shannon told me about everything, and he came up with this bullshit stuff to try and convince me to join cobra kai," she admits, "i mean it worked didn't it." robby jokes, "yeah." crystal laughs.
just then tory walks into the room, "i'll leave you two to talk" crystal says and leaves the room.

tory invited crystal to come somewhere with the rest of cobra kai, (well only like three of them but you get it) "ok, we've got one shot at this, quick, in and out well be good." hawk tells them, "know what you gotta do?" he turns to kyler, "yeah." "sweet."
robby walks up to them, "someone took their sweet ass time." tory speaks up, "you invited him?" hawk asks her, "we did." crystal corrects him, "you got a problem?" tory asks, "here you go keene." kyler says and hands him a beer, "nah i'm good." robby declines it, "what you can't handle a beer?" hawk asks him, "no i just don't need to drink to pretend to be cool." robby tells him, crystal snorts and has to lean into aimee's shoulder so she doesn't laugh.
"let's get going." tory says and holds open the fence, crystal and aimee are the last people through it apart from tory and robby, the two (aimee and cris) immediately hook onto eachothers hands when they get to the other side.
tory and robby walk up to them, "the zoo?. why do we have to sneak in?" robby asks confused, "you'll see." tory tells him, and the group walks away, they sneak into a room and immediately go for the stairs, "right, there's two cameras over there, the guard goes on break once every hour, we have less than five minutes." hawk says and runs up the stairs.
"i do wonder if there is a thought in that brain behind the mohawk." crystal says following after the group, they get to the reptile room and enter, hawk immediately opens his bag "you got the snake pole?" he asks kyler, "shit.. snake pole right." kyler says, "i orchestrated this whole thing and you didn't bring the one thing, you were in charge off?" he yells.
"i forgot ok, i've got a lot on my mind right now." kyler starts, "if i don't pass trig this semester my dads gonna shit in my mouth." kyler tells him, "ew wtf." crystal whispers to the three behind her, and makes a discusted face, "real." aimee whispers back to her, "just reach in and grab the snake!" tory yells at hawk.
"are you insane i'm not gonna stick my hand in there!" hawk whisper yells, "hey whose in there!!" a guard yells. "shit." hawk whispers, "po-po we gotta go." kyler says and runs out with hawk right behind him, tory follows on with aimee, and crystal and robby stay behind, they look at eachother and nod before robby reaches in and grabs the snake.
"we failed the mission cause of you!" hawk yells at kyler, "who said we failed?" crystal smirks and robby walks behind her with the bag, "you got it?" tory smiles at robby, "let's see it." kyler opens the bag and looks at the snake, "you the man dog!" kyler yells, tory and robby look at eachother before kyler continues to praise robby.

when the group gets back to cobra kai, robby puts the snake in a class container, while everyone else goes to the back room, "well done, i'm impressed." kreese admits, "you showed fearlessness, leadership. And those are the qualities you need to be a champion." kreese walks over to robby. "Good job. You're what Cobra Kai has been looking for. Do you see what you can accomplish when you work together? Alliances are important. For us and our enemy. Because you better believe that they are making alliances too."
"What alliances?" tory asks, "Oh, you didn't hear? Uh, male Nichols and that LaRusso girl, yeah, they're working together. Yeah, they helped save the All Valley. They gave quite a speech." tory and crystal looked towards eachother confused, they didn't even know luke was here let alone saving the all valley with sam of all people, "Well, it's getting late. Dismissed." kreese says.
tory storms out of cobra kai, crystal quickly following behind her, just to make sure she's okay.
