{SEASON 1 EP. 10.}
carmen had given crystal and miguel a lift to the all valley tournament, miguel was in a bad mood the whole time, "you good?" she asks him as they get out of the car, crystal was wearing her purple hoodie along with her exercise leggings and a plain t-shirt and her purple converse, which had been fixed since the junkyard.
"yeah, fine." miguel says blankly, he thanks his mum for the ride and walks over to the venue without crystal, "thanks mrs diaz" crystal says, "good luck today mija." carmen says and smiles at crystal, "thank you." crystal says and makes her way over to her friends.
"miguel, calm down, save some for the tournament." hawk says as crystal reaches the group, miguel just gives hawk a glare, "hey, don't bother." aisha says tapping hawks arm, "he's been super aggro since the break up." she says, crystal agrees with her, "yeah i saw him do this outside his apartment for hours, it's really weird." she says taking a sip of her water bottle she had just pulled out of her bag.
"where's sensei, the tournaments gonna start soon," hawk asks looking at crystal, "why you asking me, his car was gone by the time me and miguel left, i thought he'd be here by now." crystal defends, "i don't know about that." bert says, the three teenagers turn their head towards him, "what do you mean bert?" crystal asks him confused.
"i saw him last night at the mini-mall, i was buying a caron of milk," bert says, crystal raised her eyebrows, clearly not believing him, "when i heard him in the parking lot, yelling." bert continues, explaining what he saw, "he peed on his car?" crystal asks him confused, "that's what you pick up from that?" hawk asks her, "yeah it's disgusting." she says.
aisha rolls her eyes at the pair, "why didn't you tell us this earlier," she asks bert, "i guess i'm so used to seeing him drunk, it didn't seem like that big of a deal," bert defends himself, "well we're here and he's not, so it's officially a big deal." hawk says angrily, crystal smacks his chest, "what?!" he asks her, "he's a kid." she defends.
"what if something happens to him?" aisha says, "like what?" crystal asks her, "like he drove his car off a cliff, or bought a gun and blew his brains out?" hawk buts in, "dude.." crystal says quietly, "no, sensei wouldn't kill himself that's too pussy of a move." aisha defends.
"whatever, we're here so we're gonna have to do it without him." hawk says, "do what without me?" johnny asks as he walks round the corner, crystal smiles and then remembers what bert told her and it drops a little as she shakes off the thought, "we didn't think you were gonna show up," hawk says.
"i may not always win, but i never back out of a fight." johnny says, "let's sign up." miguel says, "no not yet, there's still one more lesson i have to teach you."johnny says, "all teams report to the locker room in five minutes!" an announcement said, "You've all learned to strike first, to be aggressive, not be losers. I've taught you to strike hard, put every ounce of your power behind everything you do. But I haven't taught you the third rule of Cobra Kai... No mercy. The older you get, the more you're gonna learn that life isn't fair" johnny starts.
