The group meets with Ironwood together, the tired man looking slightly less tired as he awoke just a few hours before.

"Glad to see you alive, again, Ozma," He nods toward Oscar. "I've already had the Relic contained, so you can rest a little easier now."

"Yeah, yeah, enough of that," Y/N's wings shift uncomfortably. "The fuck's going on in mantle? I've never seen that many soldiers anywhere."

"There were sightings of Cinder's group. I had to be careful," Ironwood sighs. "And I am aware of Emerald Sustrai's semblance and the hack that was caused by Arthur Watts and have taken the necessary precautions to prevent that from happening again."

"Great, but here's just a crazy suggestion. Why not bring the people down there, up here?" Y/N asks.

"A large-scale operation like that would be impossible in the current state of the world," Ironwood waves him off. "Defeat Salem and I won't need this flying city."

"Killing an immortal isn't the easiest thing," Y/N rolls his eyes. "But, let's go on, surely there's more to talk about."

"Yeah, you," Ironwood clasps his hands together. "How confident are you in killing Salem?"

"I'm not sure I can, but I can totally seal her... in a way," Y/N looks away. "It's a technique from my old world that I heard about in a history class in middle school, but I could probably learn more about it. It's definitely plan D currently."

"You only have twenty-six plans?" Esdeath asks.

"No, I have six," Y/N corrects. "Plan A is to Order her to stop being evil, B is to order her to stop moving, C is to hit her with an amped blast from Ruby's Silver Eyes, E is to launch her into space, and F is to dispel the Grimm sludge in her body to hopefully get her back to a regular human's morality and then repeat plan's A-E."

"And what if none of those work?" Ironwood asks.

"I blow myself up and end the nightmare for myself," The hero shrugged. "I might try a seventh thing, but that's an unreliable, irresponsible, short, annoying option."

"Nautilus?" Ironwood asked.

"The other one," Y/N could almost hear lightning striking off in the distance.

"Isn't he taller than you?" Ironwood raised an eyebrow.

"I will blow this city even higher into the sky," Y/N threatens.

"Wait... that grey-haired guy?" Lubbock asks.

"That could be referring to me too, ya know?" Y/N's hair had become a faded brown, with several strands of grey sticking out, and even his eyes had become a duller red.

"Is that gonna happen to me?" Jaune asks.

"Eventually, with aging or stress," Y/N shrugged. "Or if you happen to lose your faith in humanity or if you gain dementia at some point."

"That's... wow," Jaune let out a breath. "When this is all over, let's get you some therapy."

Y/N waved him off. "Let's not worry too much about that."

"I think we should," Ironwood stares through Y/N. "How secure is your in your faith in humanity?"

"Not very, especially in this shithole," his eyes flickered. "Clean up your city or grey eyes might be the last thing you see, Minister."

"How did you...? Nevermind that. I can't just imprison every rich and powerful person in the city at once," Ironwood says.

"Won't should be the word there," Y/N's wings shift. "I could do it in five hours if you'd let me. Maybe my hair'll go back to the way it was." he chuckled before getting up. "Till then, I'm simply an ally of the state, not a soldier, not even an assassin, though I am doing this for payment. Later."
