Sighing, I put the last book in my bag.
Moving away from my vanity desk, I went to my dresser and took up my uniform that was hanging on it.
I don't have a closet. My room was basically empty, excluding my mini bed, vanity desk, and dresser.
I was only in my under garments, so I pulled up my uniform skirt before putting on the shirt.
I was currently in lower six at Tarrant High and I wasn't gonna do upper six. My plan was to leave home as soon as I turn 18 in July.
'To where?'

Tying the laces on the Reebok shoes Ms.Annie got me from last year, I picked up my bag before exiting my room.
Ensuring I had everything, I was soon out the house and walking to the bus stop on
Spanish Town Rd.
Checking the time it read 4:41am. If I ketch Mr. Brown, the early morning taxi, I'll be at school by 5:10.

Being let unto the compound by one of the school janitors, Eddie, I thank him before continuing my trek to my form class.
I always come early to avoid waking up to my father and also for time to myself. Plus I have nightmares every night so I'm always up early.
Putting my bag on my desk, I place my head down slowly drifting into sleep.

Feeling my body being shook roughly, I awoke from my sleep and looked at the person.
Seeing my "friend" Olivia and her boyfriend Jamal infront me, I mentally hiss my teeth.
"What?", I ask annoyed and she put on her fake smile.
'Could a fool me.'
"Me, Nicole and Abby were planning to go to Sovereign later. You coming?"
"No. I'll be busy maybe another day."
