Holding our leftover ice cream and other foods in my hands, I stood there silently as she opened the front door. Once it was opened we went inside and she proceeded to securely close it afterwards.
We then made our way to the kitchen in the comfortable silence and packed the food into the fridge.
"I'm so tired." I mumble softly and she hummed.
"Go get some rest. I'll check up on you tomorrow." She replied as we ascended the stairs.
When we reached the top were then walked to our separate hallways. I took a breath as I approached the room I shared with my supposedly now ex-boyfriend. When I opened the door, I was greeted to him sitting up on the bed.
He was shirtless, the comforter covering his lower half. Eyes red and seemingly dazed off to somewhere. As I stepped further into the room, I soon felt his dry eyes on me and I stood in front the closet.
I took out my sleepwear, clean underwear, my skin moisturizer and then went into the bathroom. I'm not calm enough to speak with him or look at him in the face at the moment.
I closed the bathroom door with the lock then began to strip from my clothes. Once done, I hanged the clothes on one of the racks and placed the lotion on the counter. I then stepped into the shower adjusting it to the perfect shower before letting it envelope my body in its warmth. * * *

Opening the door, I walked out and replaced my lotion on the dresser. I then looked to the bed and saw him staring at me, his face filled with regret and need.
I looked away and proceeded to walk to my side of the bed. When I got in, I raised the comforter and positioned my body comfortably beneath it.
"Zayerah...
I turned to look at him, a pleasant expression on my face. He looked down at me and my eyes slowly scanned his face.
