Keeping my focus on the projected screen, I chuckled at a funny scene that came up. We were watching 'Wish' the new cartoon in the theatre room.
"Raise huh foot likkle" I hear Kayden say from beside.
Lifting my foot from off his lap, he took his phone from his pocket. Placing my feet back down, I return my focus to the movie.
"Goat favah Mari yf" Rush comments and I snort.
Zai began laughing with me and Kayden glared at Rush.
"Fuck off." Kayden tells him and Rush gave him the finger.
'Yyyy'
Chuckling at the thought, I was brought back to reality when Kayden tapped my shoulder.
"Nah ansa yuh phone?" He asked and that's when I realized it was ringing.
"Oh.Thanks."
Taking it up, I look at the caller ID seeing an unknown number. Showing Kayden the screen, he looked at me before declining the call.
Not saying anything, I was about to put it down but it began ringing again. Hissing my teeth, I answered the call putting it on speaker.
"Yes?" I say before hearing shuffling on the other end of the call.
"Can you meet me at Sovereign Centre. Bring your family if you like." I heard a familiar voice say before the line disconnected.
Looking at Kayden, he was already looking at me. Taking my legs off him, he sat up and looked at me.
"Who dat? And don't tell mi nuh lie." He spoke.
"Her sister." I hear Zai spoke and I sigh.
"How you know dat?" Kayden asked her.
"Story time later. Let's go. She sound like she in a trouble, and mi wah know a wah." She says and I sigh again.
