Sniffing, I wipe my eyes before taking up my bag and existed class. It was now lunch time and I haven't seen Teyanna from day. I sent several texts, called more than five times and still no response.
I blame myself for asking that yesterday, maybe she didn't like that or... I don't even know anymore.
Why am I crying?
I form emotional attachments to people easily so if I know you good enough I'll feel it if something happens to you. I know for sure something happened to Teyanna and it's bothering me.
I haven't told the boys anything but at this point that's what I was going to do. As well as my dad.
Ringing his number, he answered on the 1st ring and I sigh in relief.Sniffing, I began speaking.
"Dad?"
"Yh Jaz?" He answered using the nickname he gave me from my middle name.
" I think something's wrong with my friend."
"What happened? Why you crying?"
" Remember what I asked you yesterday before Kayden and Teyanna left? It was about her and I think one of those things happened to her. She's not responding to my texts or calls and she hasn't been active on any of her socials."
" Alright. Calm down. I'll come help you. You going to her house?"
" Yh but I don't know where. I think Kayden does so I was gonna ask them to come get me."
" Ah. Text me the address when you get it and I'll bring help. Remember yuh asthmatic suh calm down."
"Okay."
Hanging up, I called Rush's number and he picked up.
"Come get me please. NOW. And bring Kayden"
"Ah."
I hung up and went to stand outside, waiting for them. ~ ~ Within the next 10 minutes they were both here and Rush looked at me.
"Wahm to yuh??"
" Something's wrong with Tey. We need to go now. Where does she live?" I say before turning to Kayden.
" She nah ansa mi eeda. Come on." He replies and we didn't hesitate and moving.
He drove out in front us and we followed behind. ~ 12:51pm
