Watching as Raegan shifted on my stomach, I put down my phone once I saw that she was awake.
Rae sat up on the bed as I turn to lay on my back. She sat gathering her thoughts and I stare at her.
She snuck in here last night around 10pm and hadn't left my side since. Admiring the work I did in her hair yesterday, I was pulled from my thoughts hearing her speak.
"Good morning."She spoke softly and I smile.
"Morning mama." I reply and she got off the bed.
She moved to the curtains and stood there silently.
"What is it?" I asked and she shakes her head signaling nothing.
Watching as she pulled the curtains open, i covered my eyes at the sunlight. For a 4 year old, she does a lot!
I slowly got off the bed and she stood up waiting for me.
"Get your toothbrush baby."
She ran out the room and I walked to the bathroom. Doing the usual, I walk to the sink to do my morning routine. Pulling my nighty dress over my stomach, I let it flow down to my thighs covering the mini black tights I had on.
Hearing a sudden scrape on the ground, I turn around seeing Rae pushing a mini stool towards me. She placed it at the sink and stood on it and I chuckled at her actions.
We both brushed our teeth, washed our face and made our way back into the room.
"I'm hungry."
"Me too." I say taking up my phone.
Taking her hand in mine, we walked out the room to head downstairs. Taking my time to descend, I heard sounds coming from the living room once I was down.
Entering the space, I saw Tey and Zan sitting on the couches watching Moana. Laughing with Rae, they looked at us and returned to the TV.
They looked so stressed.
"What's wrong?" I asked walking over to them with Rae.
"I haven't slept because I need comfort to sleep and they're no stuff animals in the room and Zai completely left the room to go sleep with Rush." Zan said with attitude and I knew she was a bit angry.
