Staring at my phone screen, my leg continued shaking as I stared in disbelief and..fear. A tear then fell onto the phone screen followed by many others.
A knock at the door frightened me which caused my phone to fall from my hands. Quickly getting up, I flushed the unused toilet and took up my phone.
"Tey?" I hear Alexandra's voice as I took my deep breaths.
"Sis you good?" She asked again as I took another breath.
Clearing my throat, I was then able to reply with a simple 'yes'. Opening the bathroom door after a few more seconds of recollection, I froze when I met her eyes. Her arms were folded across her chest as she stared at me in concern.
"Let's go to my room." She spoke placing her palm on my back to move me forward.
A room door down the hallway opened and I looked up seeing Paris exiting her room. We exchanged smiles before I entered Alexandra's room and sat on the vanity chair. She closed the door before walking to her closet.
"What happened?" She spoke going through her closet drawers.
"They released him... bail preferably." I say in one breath and her head snapped towards me.
"How the—
"Mom. She bailed him and sent a message." I say again opening my phone as she began walking towards me.
