"So will I be able to come over. I wanna have a sleepover with you so bad." Cassidy spoke again and I did my best not to roll my eyes.
"I'll have to ask my older sisters." I reply looking away.
Come a which house? Worse how London have the baby dem she mad?
"Is that your boyfriend?" She asked pointing to Kayden who was sitting three rows in front of me.
"No. He's my adopted brother." I smile and she giggled.
"Dah eediat yah." I hear Zai mutter from a seat two rows behind me.
I held my laughter as Cassidy looked around at Zai. She didn't understand one bit of Patois.
"What did she say?"
"Umm.. that your cute."
Hearing Zai choke behind me, I put my head down on the desk as laughter settled on my chest. This is the exact reason we're seated so far apart.
London gave us strict orders to sit in two or three rows away from each other in the classes we have together. We gave too much trouble.

A message pinged on my phone and I looked at it. It was from Kayden.

Looking up a bit, Ms.Brooks was staring at Zai. She wouldn't do anything anyways, we're her new favorites.
"Sorry Miss." We both said and she shook her head.
"That's it for today." She dismissed and everyone gathered up their things.
Thank god.
We didn't have anymore classes for the day and it was Halloween break. It's weird adjusting to their culture but such is life.
"Wah di two a unuh tell ee girl?" Rush asked once we grouped up and we could only laugh.
"She just too pick me bredda, it sickening." Zayerah replied walking ahead and I shake my head.
