a locked chest, secrets hidden deep inside,
a world of words where thoughts collide
eyes brimming with fear, a silent prayer
keep this place sacred, just for me
but trust betrayed, a shattered core,
a mother’s anger, a slamming door
words twisted, meanings lost in time
a blameless victim, a cruel crime
pages filled with pain and strife
a desperate plea for a better life
ignored implorations, unanswered cries
a future clouded, shadowed by lies
was it destined, this sorrowful tale?
a bond severed, a heart laid bare
lost in the reverberations of yesterday's strife
a prisoner of hope, ensnared by sentience
