En opened her heavy eyes as the ray of sunlight struck her face. She was not able to sleep well last night. Her body still feels a little different knowing she's sleeping in a new environment. Posy was still sleeping soundly while wearing the headphones from last night. En took it off her head before leaving the bed and stepping outside. As she walked down the stairs, she saw Rosa placing the food for breakfast.

"Can I help you with anything?"

En asked.

"It's okay dear. Everything is all set. How is little Posy?"

Rosa responded.

"She is still asleep. I haven't woken her up yet."

"That's okay. She eats her breakfast late. How about you take a seat now and eat first. I will eat once Posy is awake."

En nods as she makes her way to the table to eat.

The weather that morning is a complete opposite from yesterday's. The sun beamed as if it never rained for a while. En strolled on the residence exploring the ambiance on the farm. In a far distance, she can see a person riding a horse running towards the barn located right next to the farm house. As the horse gets near, En recognizes the woman riding as they approach the barn - it was Sasha. Her casual look from yesterday is different from today. She is wearing a grey shirt, tight torn pants with her hair down this time. Her slender figure is way noticeable as she wears those fit garments.

"How was your sleep last night?"

Sasha asked.

"It was good, thank you!"

En lied since she kept on waking up during the night.

"Posy attends the school in town. I'll pick her up this afternoon. You should come, I'll show you around town since the weather is fine now."

Sasha invited.

"That sounds good."

En answered accepting her invitation.

The road is quite wide in this country area. En had just appreciated the view by then since she was asleep the last time they were passing by the place. She's only seen a few houses as they continue their way to the town.

"There's not a lot of structures here. The houses are also far from one another. The closest store there is, is the one in town. But there are a lot of buses that pass by here for people to ride."

Sasha shared as En continues to explore the view.

"Each bus has a code which brings you to different destinations. If you need to go to town and I'm not around, you can take bus 525. That brings you to town and back to the farm."

Sasha added and En acknowledged.

Sasha brought En to the town's commercial place which is right across Posy's school. The two browsed on several stores. They had enough time to kill before Posy's class is over. After doing several window shopping and En buying some personal stuff, they decided to stop by a coffee shop.

Sasha bought 2 coffees, chocolate cakes and placed them on the table. En stared at the dessert with no excitement.

"Something wrong?"

Sasha asked En.

"Nothing. I'm just not fond of eating sweet stuff."

En explained.

"Well that's a bummer. I love eating desserts. I love stuff that are sweet."

Sasha shared as she takes another bite and stares at En.

En felt awkward seeing Sasha continuously stares at her. Suddenly, Sasha's phone rang. It was a call from her mother. Sasha answered the call and briefly talked to her mom. After hanging up, Sasha's face looked a little disappointed.

"Something wrong?"

En returned Sasha's question from earlier.

"My mother asked me to buy some stuff needed for the farm just now. And it's a 30 minute drive from that store. Posy's classes should end in less than an hour."

Sasha explained.

"Well I could stay and wait for her. You can go and buy those stuff your mom asked you to."

En replied.

Sasha doesn't have much of a choice since they both can't leave and the store closes in an hour as well.

"Okay, you guys wait for me here. I'll pick you up right after I'm done there. You can give the chocolate cake to Posy later. She likes sweets too."

Sasha responded followed by a wink and started heading out to the store.

As soon as Sasha left, En took her headphones out and listened to her playlist as she waited for her sister to come out.

En was enjoying the comfort of her own company as she continued to stare at the school across the coffee shop. She was about to drink her half-filled coffee when suddenly someone bumped her from behind. The coffee spilled on her shirt and pants. She looked behind her and saw a lady in panic. The lady lost her balance from all the books she was carrying.

En stood up to help the lady pick up the books that fell on the floor.

"Duìbùqǐ. Wǒ bùshì yǒuyì yào zhuàng dào nǐ de."

En didn't mind what the lady was saying as she kept on picking up a few of her books still scattered on the floor.

"Ó! Wǒ bǎ nǐ de yīfú nòng zāng le! Wǒ hěn bàoqiàn."

The lady said with a worried face.

En forgot to bring her language guide to help her translate what the lady was saying.

"I'm sorry! I don't speak Chinese. Are you okay?"

En responded, accompanied with some hand signals to see if the lady would understand.

"I'm okay. I'm sorry, I ruined your clothes!"

The lady said in panic while taking her handkerchief out and tried wiping the coffee stain off En's white shirt.

En was relieved to hear the woman can understand and speak the same language as her. But suddenly felt embarrassed when she realized that the woman was wiping her shirt.

"It's fine! It's fine! Don't worry about the shirt."

En lied again as that coffee though half-filled was still hot when it spilled her clothes.

But the woman in panic seemed to have not heard what En said and continued wiping her shirt. En felt more embarrassed as people kept on staring at them. Suddenly, En grabbed the woman's hand to make her stop. She stared at the woman in panic and as she stared back at her, En noticed her brown eyes were teary.

"I'm okay miss. Seriously, don't worry about my clothes."

En smiled to calm and assure the woman that she's fine.

The woman started to calm down as she continued to stare at En. The store has a couple of people in it but both En and the woman felt a deafing silence for a moment. The two haven't noticed that En is still holding her hand.

"Alina, nǐ láile!"

The silence was broken when the woman's friend called her.

The woman then placed her stack of books on the next table. As she continued keeping herself together, En stood still behind her, staring. Then the school bell rang.
