En was astounded to see Alina. It seems like the universe has conspired to help them meet again. She felt a sudden rush on her body and warmth on her face.
"Posy, this is Alina. Alina, this is Posy my little sister."
En introduced both of them.
"Hello Posy, it is so nice meeting you."
Alina smiled as she handed the little girl the candied apple she's been eyeing for a while.
En can't help but stare at Alina as she radiantly smiles and gives the dessert to her little sister.
"Hello again pretty lady. Thank you for the apple today and the orange juice before.
Posy responded to Alina.
"I didn't know you still remembered her giving you that orange juice from the coffee shop, Posy."
En finally spoke again.
"Of course, I remembered the pretty lady. But I was very hungry at that time! You are very beautiful!"
Posy looked at Alina as she takes a bite of the apple.
"Not as sweet and beautiful as you though."
Alina responded with a big smile on both her lips and eyes.
Alina joined En and Posy as they explored the rest of the amusement park. They enjoyed riding the bump cars, watching the magic show and the parade of cartoon characters. Alina randomly took photos and gazed in adorement as the 2 enjoyed their time together.
"Posy, it's getting dark soon. We have to head back to the farmhouse."
En reminded Posy.
"But sister, can we take 1 more ride before going home? Please?"
Posy begged her sister.
"Okay! Which one would you like to ride?"
Posy's eyes widened as the ferry's wheel reached the top.
"Wow! Look sister! I can see our school from here!"
The little girl screamed in amusement.
En and Alina sat as they continue to watch Posy being amazed by the view. The 3 enjoyed watching the sun set from afar when unexpectedly, the ferry's wheel made a hard stop. This resulted to Alina being thrown off balance. En managed to quickly catch her before slipping off from where she is seated. En was holding Alina's arm on one hand and her waist on the other.
Meanwhile, Alina finds herself holding En's shoulders. Time froze for a moment for the 2 of them as they continue to stare at each other's eyes. En felt that she could hear her heartbeat and her breathing suddenly became rapid. She couldn't resist not staring at her lips. Alina noticed her staring on her mouth which made her bite her lower lip a little. Alina could also hear her own breathing - fast, hard breathing. She doesn't feel tired or exhausted but she's been catching her breath at that particular moment.
"Are you guys okay?"
Posy spoke while staring at both of them.
Both women freed themselves from holding each other.
"Yes, we're fine dear. I was just off balance from that sudden shake."
Alina answered as she continued to catch her breath.
She turned to look at En afterwards and she saw her smile at her without saying a word.
Posy felt exhausted and a little dizzy after the last ride so En had to carry her as they exit out of the amusement park. It was already dark when they left the pleasure ground and she's worried they might get scolded by Rosa when they get home. En turned around to bid farewell to Alina as Posy remained resting on her shoulder.
"Sorry we took a lot of your time today. It's already dark. How are you getting home?"
En spoke after being silent for a while.
"That was fine. My place is just a walking distance from here. It's just right around the corner there."
Alina answered pointing in the direction behind her. Yet En just continued staring at her.
"Sasha."
Posy spoke in a soft voice.
"Sasha is back home little one. We'll get there soon."
En says to her sister.
"No, Sasha is here."
Posy answered her sister in a sweet yet tired tone.
En turned around and saw Sasha leaning on the hood of her truck looking at them.
"You should head home now. Posy is already spent. Good night sweetie! I hope you had fun."
Alina said goodbye while caressing the little girl's head.
"Thank you pretty lady! I had a lot of fun today."
Posy answered with her sweet little voice.
"We should get going. You take care. And thanks for spending your time with us today."
En said to Alina.
"Oh! Pretty lady! Can you come to the farmhouse this weekend? It's my birthday!"
Posy invited Alina in a cheerful voice.
"Oh! That's so sweet. I will have to check my schedule dear, okay?"
Alina responded to the little girl.
"Please? Please?!? Please. . .."
Posy begged.
"Okay dear, I will clear my schedule for your birthday. Happy?"
Alina can't resist the child and just laughed.
"Promise?"
Posy asked for assurance.
"I promise!"
Alina raised her right hand as she answered the persistent girl.
Posy gave her the biggest grin and bid goodbye.
En is still carrying Posy as they walk towards Sasha. She can feel that her little sister was about to fall asleep any moment now.
"Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Mom was worried that you're not home yet so she asked me to check on you."
Sasha explained her presence.
"Is Auntie mad?"
En nervously asked.
"Furious! So be prepared to get your ears full of unspeakable words."
Sasha responded.
En suddenly felt scared knowing she made Rosa upset.
"Hey! Don't sweat! I was just joking! She's not mad, she was worried that you guys must've been lost."
Sasha can't hold her laughter anymore seeing how anxious En's face was.
"Oh! Please don't scare me like that again! You mean woman!"
En exclaimed with a hint of relief that Rosa isn't mad at her. She began to laugh imagining what Rosa's face would looked like worrying about them.
In a not so far distance, Alina watched as the 3 of them got inside the truck and left. She couldn't help but feel jealous seeing En and Sasha laughing. Alina started walking her way home feeling a little envious of what she saw.
