The buzzing of the chainsaw has awaken En from her sleep. Her head felt heavy as she sat on the bed and rubbed her eyes. After leaving her room last night, En still had challenges hitting the sack. Posy is nowhere in sight anymore as En examines the room.
As En walked down the stairs she saw that everyone is gathered on the dining table, including Alina.
"Good morning sister!"
Posy greeted En with a big smile.
"Good morning little one. How was your sleep?"
En greeted her back and kissed her sister's head.
"I slept fine! Dino and Bunbun helped me sleep right away."
Posy proudly shared to everyone.
"I'm happy that Dino's loud roar doesn't scare you anymore naughty kid."
Sasha praised Posy for not being afraid of thunder anymore.
"Sometimes I get startled but that was because Dino is laughing very hard, the sound is shaking the walls!"
Posy annoyingly responded.
Everyone on the table laughed as they shared a lovely breakfast.
En walked Alina back to where her car was parked. Not a word comes out of their mouth as they head to the black Impala on the driveway. Alina must now go back to town and En must stay on the farm to help.
"Thank you for letting me stay for the night. I enjoyed the birthday party. I'll let you know when the birthday photos are ready so Posy can fill it in her album."
Alina spoke to break the quietude between them.
"Thanks! Posy will be delighted to see those photos."
En's short answer.
Alina approached the driver's side of the vehicle and opened the door when she suddenly paused.
"I want to show you my favorite place at 73rd Street if you're not busy sometime. I think you'll like the place."
Alina uttered inviting the woman standing behind the car.
"That sounds fun. I would love too!"
En responded in a more cheerful way.
Alina smiled back before entering the car and drove her way back to town.
En slowly walked back to the house, her head down staring on the ground, deeply thinking of the night she and Alina briefly spent on the porch. She continued walking without looking straight ahead so she didn't notice Sasha standing right in front of her. The disturbed woman bumped into her colleague.
"Ops! Penny for your thoughts?"
Sasha jokingly asked her unsettled friend.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there."
En apologized.
"How could you when you're walking and looking down at the same time?"
Sasha still teased her.
"I was just thinking of something, I didn't noticed you."
En responded with a smile.
"Thinking of something? Or someone? Well, all I can say is you're too slow."
Sasha mocked En.
"What does that supposed to mean?"
En puzzled by Sasha's words.
"You should've made a move unless the woman established a clear boundary, slow poke. Just like how I flirted with you but then I stopped because you clearly shut me off."
Sasha continued to make fun of her.
"First of all, you're crazy. Secondly, I'm not the one you should be flirting with when there's someone whose been eagerly waiting for you to notice her."
En teases Sasha back.
Sasha can only think of 1 person after hearing En's statement - Bian. And it all of a sudden made sense. Sasha was still flabbergasted realizing how unmindful she was with Bian's feelings for her.
"I'll let that sink on you for the mean time."
En tapped Sasha's shoulder and headed her way inside the house.
En stands in the corner street entrance of the farmhouse as she patiently waits for Alina. The woman invited her to see the cabin on the lakehouse in 73rd Street. 2 buses had already stopped before her thinking she needs a ride. En was excited to see the place especially after how Alina described it to her. Another bus stopped before her and the door opened.
"Hop in!"
Alina peeked as the bus door opened.
En immediately stepped inside the bus after seeing the gorgeous woman smiled before her.
"So we are riding the bus eh?"
En asked in excitement.
"I always ride this bus when I go there. It's more fun exploring the view rather than driving and keeping your eyes straight the road."
Alina answered with a thrill.
The 2 women were seated at the back of the bus. Alina freely takes photos as they continue with the trip. There's still 2 more hours before they reach the 73rd street's terminal so they have a lot of time to kill.
