“Ruby, I need you to pick a tablecloth.” Weiss said, excitedly.
Weiss puts two tablecloths that look exactly alike in front of her.
“Aren't they both the same?” Ruby asked.
“Ahg, I don't know why I even asked you.” Weiss said.
*Don't worry…Those two pieces are exactly the same…Because I switched them…* Y/n whispered.
“Weiss is really…something.” Ruby said.
“So have you picked out a dress yet?” Yang asked.
“I have, Y/n took me to a store to get one.” Ruby said.
Yang looks away to see Weiss putting dollies around.
“Weiss, I thought we agreed on no dollies!” Yang said.

“Well if I don't get dollies, you don't get fog machines.” Weiss said to Yang.
“Hey, Ruby are you oka–” Y/n was cut off.
“Your dance is gonna have fog machines?” Neptune said, walking in with Sun.
(Oh you've got to be kidding me…) Y/n thought.
(Do you hate Neptune?) Lilith asked.
(Of course I do. Weiss has a crush on him…)

“We were thinking about it.” Weiss said
“That's pretty cool.” Neptune said.
“You ladies all excited for dress up?” Sun asked.

“Pfft, yeah right.” Ruby said.
“Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tonight” Yang said.
“What are you two wearing?” Weiss asked.
“Uh, this.” Sun said.
“Ignore him, for he knows not what to say.” Neptune said.
“Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie place” Sun said.
“Yeah we've noticed.” Yang said.
“So uh what does Blake think of all of this?” Sun asked.
“She's coming to the dance.” Y/n said.
“Really!?” Sun asked.
“Yes, I convinced her.” Y/n said.
“I'm here, hello.” Blake said.
Walking towards them.
“Welcome Blake, hi.” Y/n said.
“I can't believe you, of all people, convinced Blake to come.” Weiss said.
“Hey! If you were like Blake you would have been convinced by me without a thought.” Y/n said.
Weiss was silent.

“So who are you guys taking out?” Y/n asked.
Weiss and Neptune looked at each other of course but didn't say anything.
Sun looked at Blake and Blake looked at you.
Ruby didn't say anything and Yang was decorating still.
“I don't know what about you Y/n are you planning on asking someone or did someone already ask you?” Blake asked.
“I haven't been asked and I haven't thought of anyone who's caught my eye yet.” Y/n said.
“Well I wan–.” Blake was cut off.
“Welp imma go to Jaune see ya, Blake.” Y/n said.

Later that night

“Jaune, what are you doing with that WhiteRose?” Y/n asked.
“Ah- oh Y/n, you startled me. I'm gonna give it to Weiss and ask her to the dance.” Jaune said.
“Huh oh–” Y/n was cut off.
“Neptune!” Weiss yelled.
Jaune and Y/n hid peeking out of the corner.
“Oh hey! What's up?” Neptune asked.
“I-this is a little… unorthodox, but.. I wanted to ask you something. Would you like to accompany me to the dance tomorrow?” Weiss asked.
Y/n's fist were clutching tightly and her tail stopped moving.
Jaune noticed it but didn't say anything.
Before Neptune could answer.
He grabbed Y/n's wrist, dropped the white rose and dragged Y/n away.
To a secluded area.
“Do you think he accepted?” Jaune asked.
“Probably, he was making moves on Weiss...then again…he is flirty…” Y/n said, calmly.
“Are you alright?” Jaune asked.
“Anyways let's get ready, the dance is starting...” Y/n said.

Time skip the dance.

Y/n and Ruby got ready and walked to where the dance was being held…well in Ruby's case wobbled.
“Oh, you look beautiful, sis!” Yang said to Ruby.
Y/n walked in.
“Y/n! You look amazing!” Yang said to Y/n.
“Thank you.” Y/n said.
“Ahg, how does Weiss walk in these?" Ruby asked in her heels.
Yang laughed.
“Hey, guys.” Blake said.
“Hello, Blake.” Y/n said.
Weiss walked by.
