The guards in front were drumming.
*This castle looks small* Y/n whispered.
"Uh, are we sure we should do this?" Yang asked.
"Well, the Red King helped Alix. " Ruby said.
"We aren't Alix." Weiss stated.
"If he helped her then he might help us." Y/n said.
The group made it to the top to meet more drummers.
Now trumpets were heard.
The... King? walked through. A short one.
"You're the red king?" Ruby asked.
"Uhg tha!! How dare you! There is no king! I am the red prince! Why I never, coming to someones castle without knowing who they really are. And on my birthday!" The red king yelled.

"Happy birthday your majesty!" the guards yelled.
"The king wasn't so rude...or small...or loud." Yang said.
"Well if it wasn't for your kind. The king would still be here!" A wooden guard yelled.
Ruby sighed.
"Happy birthday your majesty." Ruby said.

"You literally just told us." Yang said.
"Chaos will run everywhere..." Y/n said.
Weiss smacked her forehead.
"Also we saw advertisements for your party. Everywhere!" Weiss yelled.

"This is like stereotypical hell." Y/n said.
Yang laughed.
The wooden guard popped the red prince's booger.
"Ew. Did I used to be this embaraly pompous?" Weiss asked.
Something pushed Blake and Weiss away.
"No, you were very cute, smart and had good manners... Just like ROYALTY should..."
Y/n glared at the Red Prince.

"You're majesty! We acquired the greatest gift used by a powerful warrior and is acquired by us and us only." A wooden guard yelled.
"But we're the ones who gave it to you-!"
Weiss was pushed away.
The red prince opened the box.

"Eh, green? How could you!" The red prince yelled, throwing it.
Ruby ran to where it was but was stopped by a guard.
"How could you..." Ruby said.
The two guards were beheaded by the red prince.
"Wait, maybe we could cheer you up!" Ruby suggested.
"Well, beheading people does cheer me up. But go on." The red prince said.
"We heard you like to play games." Ruby said, with a mischievous face.

"Ruby, you make it sound weird." Y/n said.
The red prince smiled.

"So what would you guys want as a reward for playing my games? There's always a catch." The red prince asked.
"You're majesty, you are as wise as you are...uh..."
Little whispered something in Ruby's ear.
"Small." Ruby said, confidently.
"Thank you." The red prince said.
*Yes!* Little whispered.
"If we win I want you to help us get to the tree." Ruby said.
"The tree?...It's so far away..." The red prince said.

"That's uh...why we're asking." Ruby said.
"Hmmm...If you win I will help you with what you ask of." The red prince said.

The whole castle laughed at Ruby except her team and Y/n.

"Rule one. Each player must move every pawn one space each turn. Rule two. Whoever gets the most pawns to the other side of the board wins. Rule three! To take up a space. You must dispose of whoever occupies it." The red prince said.
"Dispose of?" Ruby asked.
The white pawns looked tired.
"Okay...I think I'm missing some pieces." Ruby said.
"No! Don't say that!" Y/n yelled.
"Hmm. How perfect you brought along friends to play them." The prince said.
Y/n smacked her forehead.
Weiss turned small.
"W-Weiss!" Y/n yelled.
Y/n summoned something around her.
"If you cheat you'll be automatically disqualified!" The guard yelled.
