I studied the projectiles currently being aimed at us. They looked fairly heavy. My wind wouldn't stand a chance against them.

"What do we do now?" Wura shouted from beside me.

"We have to think of something quickly." Ade got into a fighting stance ready to block of the attacks.

"I have an idea." I yelled. Everyone's gaze turned to me. "I will create a cyclone to send them back and I need you to crush anyone that I can't get." I pointed to Ojo's massive fists.

"Sounds like a good plan but what about us?" Ade asked, his eyes still on the strange objects in front of us.

"You are indestructible." I pointed out to him. "Protect everyone else."

"Hopefully this works."

"It will." I say confidently despite the bead of sweat rolling down my face. "Everyone ready?"

"Ready." They all replied.

"Let's go." I stepped forward and raised my hands up slowly, feeling the cyclone I was creating getting bigger, stronger and higher.

"Hurry." Tola shouted.

"I'm trying." I shouted back harshly. "Everyone stand back. Get as far as you can. This is about to get a bit dangerous." I yelled at everyone.

Slowly moving my arms, I got all the large rock like objects into the cyclone and threw them as far away as I could. The rocky projectiles were much heavier than I thought and so a few escaped the cyclone and headed for us.

Beside me, Ojo let out a loud growl as his fists expanded and turned to iron. He quickly broke one of the objects headed for us into smaller pieces and pushed down another to the ground. The last one collided with his hand and broke in two then landed on both sides of him. Ade took the brunt of the large particles that flew in the direction of everyone else.

Strange colored dust whirled around us as the breeze died down. I covered my mouth and nose to avoid inhaling any more of it. It was quiet except for the breeze and the dust settling down

"The final test of stage three is complete." A robotic voice echoed around us.

I fell to my knees, extremely thankful it was over.

"Candidates 42Y, 18G and 30M." The robotic voice called on me, Ojo and Ade. "Report to the conference room."

As everyone else left for the exit room, I wondered why I was called on.

The conference room looked more like a room of judgement. I had only been inside once - my first day at the academy - and it was very brief and very very nerve-racking. It was empty except for the raised platform that the chief speakers sat behind. Two men and one woman with greying hair.

"I am sure you're wondering why you are here." The chief speaker who sat in the middle announced. He was extreme pale the shape of a juicy tomato.

"No cause for alarm." The woman chief speaker assured us. "We called you all to congratulate you."

"You are all going to join the elite teams of superheroes we have." The other - shorter but slightly more slender - pressed something and a stone slab shot out of the floor. "Candidate 42Y step forward and pick a slip."

He gave the same instructions to Ojo and Ade and told us to press our thumb at the top of the slip - a holographic pen that could bring out any image saved inside with a click of the fingerprint - to reveal the team we would be joining.

The first words that greeted me when the image in the slip shot out and projected were, S-Force.

Congratulations Yvonne Roberts(Candidate 42Y). You have been selected out of several candidates to join the Super Force. A representative will be pick you up shortly.

I was going to be joining the Super Force. Me. My disbelief was through the roof.

"Congratulations to all three of you." The chief speakers said at the same time. "Do not slow down on the dedication you have shown in training."

I was going to finally become a superhero. A real superhero.
