"Yvonne Roberts?" A man stepped into my line of sight on my way back to my room from the conference room.

"Yes?" I said warily.

"I'm a representative from the Super Force. You are to come with me immediately."

"Now?"

"Yes. Now!"

"But my things..."

"You won't be needing them."

"Oh!" My eyes went wide.

"If you'll just follow me." He pointed to the door that led out of the facility.

A huge, black craft with a large "S" written on it in gold lettering stood on the launch pad in front of the facility.

"The S-craft." I said in awe before I could stop myself. The representative ignored what I had said and ushered me in. He directed me to a seat behind the piloting area and he sat not too far from me but still to the pilot.

"Secure yourself." He instructed curtly. I pulled down the harness attached the top of my seat and clipped it around me.

"Done." I informed the dour man.

"We're all set on this end." He let the pilot know as he secured the harness on himself as well.

"Copy that." The pilot replied. The S-craft purred to life and took off from the ground smoothly and we were off to the S-quarters.

"May I use your phone? I would like to call my brother." I asked the S-Force representative.

"Sure." He fished into his jacket and brought out his phone.

"Is it OK if I make the call in private?" I asked as he handed the phone over.

"Sure." He let out with a disinterested sigh.

I got up from my seat and went to find a quiet place I could make a call. Once I was out of hearing distance, I opened up the phone and typed in my brother's numbers. After a few trills, my brother's face popped out of the screen in projected hologram.

"Yvonne?" He furrowed his brows in confusion.

"Hey Sel?" I smiled sheepishly.

"Hey lil sis. Something wrong?"

"I got recruited into the S-Force."

"That's great news."

"Yeah I'm actually on my way there right now."

"Wow!"

"Yeah. It was really out of the blue. I just found out like an hour ago and next thing I know, I'm on the S-craft on the way to their headquarters."

"That quick huh?" His brows raised in disbelief.

"Believe me you're not as shocked as I am. They did not even let me pack up my stuff."

"How impatient of them." He frowned.

"I know right. So can you go to the facility and pack up my stuff. Make sure you pack my hair ties and socks. Please make sure nothing is missing."

"No problem. I will be finishing up here soon so I'll head to the facility immediately I am done with work."

"Thank you so much."

"You're welcome."

"Let me leave you to your work."

"Yeah the sooner I finish, the sooner I can get to the facility before your stuff gets stolen."

"I'll see you soon and thanks again."

"No problem. See you."

I ended the call and my brothers hologram fizzled out of focus then finally returned into the phone. I went back to my seat and handed the phone to the S-Force representative.

"We'll be arriving our destination soon." He informed me.

"OK."

"Secure yourselves. We will be landing in a moment." Our pilot called out. I did as I was told. I felt the S-craft begin to descend. I saw the clouds rush by from outside the aircraft then clear out to reveal a large building before us. Our pilot slowed down as he made an expert landing.

"We've arrived." The representative announced. He began unbuckling his harness. "Thank you Lake."

"You're welcome." Our pilot, Lake, nodded at the representative as he alighted the S-craft. I undid my harness and followed after him, leaving Lake behind.

I felt my heart beat violently against my chest as we made our way to the imposing building that housed the S-Force headquarters. I was led past the entrance and into a room that was all white.

"Welcome to the Super Force. An attendant will be with you shortly." A voice surrounded the room.

"Looks like my work here is done." The representative nodded politely and exited from the room.

" Stand up." The voice that surrounded the room commanded. I hurriedly stood. Instantly gaseous fumes filled the room, making me cough and my eyes water. Two women entered the room and ordered me to take off my old uniform and put on the uniform they handed to me. A different practice from what was done on my first day at the training facility. I was put in a cubicle fully clothed, told to strip off all my clothes and throw them outside, then I was sprayed down with an odorless liquid to disinfect me. My uniform as well as undergarments were laid out for me when I stepped out of the cubicle. When we had days off, we'd get doused before we got our clothes on and were allowed leave the facility. On visiting days, I'd see the moisture of the disinfectant on my parents' faces when they came visiting.

I took off all my clothes and put on the new uniform, a pair of cobalt blue pants that almost fit like a second skin with a matching cobalt blue top that had the letters SF written in bold neon yellow at the back.

I was led to an underground shuttle that took us to an underground facility.

"This is your room." The attendants stopped me in front of a room labelled "014". "You will be given a tour of the Super Force headquarters in an hour and tomorrow you will meet your instructor. Have a good day."

And just like that, they were gone with less ceremony than they came in with.
