"You two sure about this, bro?" Eclipse asked, grabbing the handles on the Raven's physical module as Exodus handed it to him. "How are you supposed to keep the thing safe?" Munin motioned for Exodus to hand him the tablet sitting on the table.
"Simple. I have an interface for an assistant on the tablet, and all I need to do now is just replace the basic systems with Raven." Munin said, taking the chip out of the module, feeling a pang of anxiety as the life of the lights in the computer's module dimmed and turned off. He plugged it into his tablet, waiting as the download completed, and the avatar of the AI appeared, its presence like an unblinking eye sitting in the corner of the screen.
"You couldn't have handled that transition more... carefully?" The AI asked, sounding offended. "You treat me as if I'm just another program." Munin sighed, looking at the camera of the tablet, and by technicality, the eye of the AI.
"Not now, Raven," Munin says, turning off the tablet and putting it in his bag. He then turned to Eclipse. "We should get going. Send any more details about Genesis's location to me ASAP, wilco?" He asks, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Wilco. I'll see what I can do." Eclipse said, saluting rather tiredly after he set down the module back into the aircraft. "Just don't die, got it? Or, at least, tell me that you're dying when you're bleeding out, so I don't worry about you." Munin laughed, nodding.
"Copy all. Keep the place somewhat clean, please?" He said, smiling thinly as he turned to leave.
"Dreamweaver damnit, Munin, you put too little trust in me," Eclipse muttered, but nodded nonetheless. Munin laughed again, grabbing the case containing his sniper rifle, and heading out the warehouse door with Exodus in tow, carrying a case with his own assault rifle. They walked outside, and entered the adjacent warehouse, which housed the getaway car that Eclipse had somehow procured. And now that Munin was thinking about it, probably illegally as well. He placed the case in the back of the car, and slid into the driver's seat, putting his sidearm in the cup holder in between his seat and that of the front passenger seat, which Exodus had claimed. He glanced over at his friend, who was looking rather uncomfortable about the lack of seatbelts.
"This thing doesn't have any safety features, huh?" Exodus asked, looking around the car. Munin laughed, shaking his head.
"You'll be fine. I told you to wear your exosuit, didn't I?" He asked, smiling. Exodus scoffed, shaking his head.
"Tsk. As if a glass panel in front of my face is going to help me when you pull a 9 G turn in a f*cking car." He muttered, annoyed. Munin sighed, shaking his head.
"Would you rather have Eclipse drive?" Munin asked, rolling his eyes. "As far as I know, he'll pull a... Well, an Eclipse." Exodus shrugged, looking away from Munin and out at the forest
"Better than risking you pulling an Andy and Leyley." Exodus said.
"What does that mean!?" He asks, angry. "What are you implying!?" It took Exodus around 2 seconds to realize what Munin was referring to.
"Nonononono, not that part. That's disgusting." Exodus said, raising his hands defensively. "I meant the murder part!" Munin glared at him, giving him a look of pure hatred, before shaking his head. "Leave it to your insane *ss to assume I'm talking about that."
