FAYE

It's nighttime, and we just finished eating dinner. Kakabalik ko lang din kanina galing sa bahay ko para kumuha ng ilang damit. Balak ko kasing magstay dito ng ilang araw. I can't help it—I missed her so much. Hihi!

Habang nasa kusina si Yoko, the doorbell rang. "You expecting a visitor?" I asked Yoko habang papunta ako sa kusina. She glanced at me and shook her head, looking slightly puzzled. "Ako na magbubukas," I offered, and she nodded, turning back to whatever she was doing.

I walked to the door and opened it, only to find Lux standing there, holding a bouquet of flowers. She looked just as surprised to see me as I was to see her. "Anong ginagawa mo rito?" I asked, my voice laced with annoyance as I raised an eyebrow at her. Tinaasan din niya ako ng kilay, giving me that familiar snarky look.

"I was supposed to ask you that," she replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "What are you doing here?"

"Faye, sino—oh, Lux!" Yoko's voice suddenly cut through the tension as she appeared beside me. She smiled warmly at Lux, who handed her the bouquet with a pleased look on her face. "For you," Lux said, shooting me a smug look as she did so. I clenched my fists, struggling to keep my composure.

Yoko accepted the flowers with a wide smile on her face. "Thank you, Lux," she said gratefully. My brows furrowed as I watched the exchange, but when Yoko noticed my expression, she giggled softly. "Lagay ko lang sila sa vase," Yoko said, turning to leave us at the doorway. As she walked away, I crossed my arms and turned back to Lux, who was still standing there, looking way too pleased with herself.

"What are you doing here? May pabulaklak ka pa," I said, trying to keep my voice calm, though the irritation was clear.

"Bakit? Bawal ba?" Lux replied, her tone mocking as she crossed her arms too, mirroring my stance.

"Oo, hindi ba sabi ko, layuan mo si Yoko?" I shot back, stepping closer to her.

Lux didn't back down. Instead, she took a step forward, closing the gap between us. "Bakit? Kayo na ba? Didn't you break her heart?" she taunted, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Wala kang alam sa nangyari, Lux. We're okay now, and I'm already her suitor," I countered, standing my ground.

Lux's smirk widened, and she laughed softly. "Really? Suitor pa lang naman, eh. Maaagaw ko pa 'yan," she said confidently, her tone dripping with arrogance. My fists clenched even tighter as I glared at her.

Before I could say anything else, Yoko returned, her eyes flicking between the two of us. "What are you guys talking about?" she asked, her tone was light but curious. Lux and I exchanged a look before she turned to Yoko with that infuriating grin still on her face.

"Wala, kamustahan lang," Lux lied smoothly, and Yoko nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer.

"Faye, bakit hindi mo pa siya pinapasok?" Yoko asked, her brows furrowed in confusion as she looked at me. I opened my mouth to respond, pero naunahan ako magsalita ni Lux.

"No need na, Yoko. Aalis na rin ako," Lux said cheerfully, her smile as bright as ever.

"Buti naman," I muttered under my breath, not really caring if anyone heard me. Unfortunately, Yoko did, and she playfully slapped my arm.

"Faye!" she scolded, but I could see the amusement in her eyes. Lux, on the other hand, laughed out loud at the exchange.

"Bye, Yoko, mamimiss kita," Lux said, her tone playful as she glanced at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Then, she stuck her tongue out at me before quickly dashing away, laughing like a lunatic.

"Huwag ka nang babalik, ha!" I called after her, watching her retreating figure with a mix of annoyance and disbelief. That woman's definitely not right in the head. I swear she's only here in the Philippines because she escaped from a mental hospital or something.

I was startled out of my thoughts when Yoko suddenly hit me on the back of the head. "Ouch, Yo! Masakit!" I whined, rubbing the spot where she hit me.

"Hindi mo man lang pinapasok pinsan mo!" she pouted, crossing her arms and giving me that cute but stern look she always does when she's annoyed.

"Hayaan mo na 'yun. Bakit ba close na kayo non? Sinaktan ka non before, 'di ba?" I pointed out, still frowning at the thought of Yoko being friendly with Lux.

Napabuntong-hininga si Yoko and she looked at me with those big, understanding eyes of hers. "Napatawad ko na siya, Faye," she said, her voice soft but firm. I couldn't help but pout at her response, feeling a bit defeated.

I pulled her into a hug, resting my head on her shoulder. "Huwag mo na kasi siyang pansinin. Nandito naman ako, oh? Ang pogi mong manliligaw," I teased, hoping to lighten the mood.

Yoko let out a small laugh before pinching my cheek hard. "A–aray!" I yelped, pulling away slightly to rub my now sore cheek. She just laughed at me, clearly amused by my reaction.

She then leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to my lips. Before I could react, she pinned me against the door, making it click shut behind me. Her eyes were dark with desire as she looked at me, and I couldn't help but smirk at her boldness. I leaned in, capturing her lips in a torrid kiss, letting the intensity of our emotions flow through us.

We didn't stop there. Our kisses grew hungrier, more desperate as we stumbled towards her bed, our hands roaming each other's bodies. Every touch ignited a fire within me, a deep, burning need that only she could satisfy.

By the time we reached the bed, we were both breathless, our bodies pressed together as we fell onto the mattress. I could feel her heart pounding against my chest, matching the rapid rhythm of my own. We continued kissing, our hands still exploring each other's bodies as if we were trying to memorize every inch.

Eventually, I pulled back slightly, looking down at her. Her eyes were half-lidded, her lips swollen from our kisses, and her cheeks flushed with desire. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, and I couldn't believe that she was mine.

"I love you, Yoko," I whispered, my voice barely audible as I leaned in to kiss her again, this time more gently, savoring the taste of her lips.

"I love you too, Faye," she whispered back, her words sending a shiver down my spine. I smiled against her lips, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over me.

As we lay there together, tangled in each other's arms, hindi ko mapigilang maisip kung paano namin nalagpasan ang mga masasakit na nangyari. Despite everything, we found our way back to each other. And now, nothing would ever tear us apart again.

I promise that, my Yoko. Hinding-hindi ka na mawawalay sa'kin ulit.
