Leonhardt Arc: Chapter 150

==A magnificent ship==

The Kanzler sits at his desk, noticing a notification.

He opens it and gets a bit annoyed, ordering: “Hans, get ze Flammenwerfer. There’re some people you need to educate.”

Hans, one of Erika’s older brothers, leaves the office room.

Maximilian then uses his microphone to call Erika’s other brother: “Michael, gear up and come here.”

He ends the call and stands up from his chair. After pressing a button under his desk, the wall behind him starts shifting upwards, revealing a wall, stocked with weapons and gear. He walks toward his big window to look at the silent surface of the asteroid as it emerges from the clouds and enters the part of its orbit outside of the gas giant.

Horuteph walks through the caves next to Yafumi, riding on Toru.

Horuteph asks: “Can you even fight? I know you’ve been training your physical power on the ship but I haven’t seen you fight. You can heal though, right?”

Yafumi replies: “Well, y- you could’ve w- watched but you never d- did.”

Horuteph comments: “Because I’m scared. Doesn’t have anything to do with you but scaly beings terrify me.”

Yafumi continues: “My Koa heals p- people but I’m not very s- strong. I’m s- sorry.”

“No need to apologize. If you feel useless then just be a good doctor for the people who might get injured later. They’ll need you.”, Horuteph replies, patting Yafumi’s head because he can reach all the way up there.

Some seconds pass and Yafumi asks: “If y- you’re scared of me, w- why could you just do that?”

Horuteph guesses: “Maybe you ease my phobia with your cuteness? I don’t know to be honest but I feel more comfortable with you already.”

Yafumi is smiles through her eyes and Horuteph asks himself in his thoughts: “Why do you stutter so much? And why don’t you smile with your mouth? Maybe I can also try to ease your mind.”

The Raiden group walks through a hallway that shows the many ships of businessmen docking at the asteroid’s port.

Atsume notices: “Whoa! Look at that giant ship there! It’s like, half a kilometer long!”

Raiden orders: “Shurui-chan, analysis!”, and then remembers that she’s missing, making all of them sad.

Erika then gets an idea and smirks over to Raiden: “How about we just take that ship to leave after we’re done liberating the asteroid? It would certainly make my dad extremely mad because it’s his most prized possession. The thing is, he couldn’t come back at us since he’s going to jail.”

Raiden asks: “Why would he go to jail? Is there evidence that he’s enslaving people here?”

Erika explains: “Well, the Space Force doesn’t know his location but he has a bounty. We could get a ton of money, this insane ship and help thousands of slaves, simply by beating the shit out of him.”

Atsume asks: “Is this ship really that cool?”

Erika gets excited: “It’s a mechanical masterpiece! The legendary Zeus, one of the ‘Three Ships of Kreon’!”

Raiden mumbles: “Kreon…”, and then remembers, “Isn’t that the robo-planet you want to visit so badly?”

Erika gets extremely close to his face, continuing to ramble: “YES! Those masterminds must’ve built these ships! Along with the Poseidon, which is owned by the Space Force, and the Hades, it’s one of the most masterful creations ever! Only gods could build ships like that but the inhabitants of Kreon did it!”

Raiden pushes her out of his face and replies: “Okay, okay, it’s settled then! We split up to beat up each member of your family individually, steal the Zeus and hand out your dad to the Space Force to make some big cash!”

Erika adds: “That’s the plan but I would like to do my own thing. I wanna look through the remnants of Shurui-chan and the Battery Bucket. Maybe I can save her and some things from the ship.”

Raiden smiles: “You’re the one who knows her wiring best now, if someone can save her, it’s you.”

Atsume walks into a storage room, a few minutes later and alone.

“Halt!”, someone shouts at her, “Who gave you permission to walk through here?”

Atsume replies: “Nobody! I’m here to beat your ass into the stratosphere, even though that doesn’t exist on this shitty asteroid.”

“Well, I, Hans Leonhardt, will stop you with my Flammenwerfer!”

Atsume comments: “So, like Erika, you use the German term for your signature weapon, interesting.”

Ketsuki enters the garden Erika talked about in her flashback and gets tapped on his shoulder by somebody.

Ketsuki instantly jumps away while turning around and asks: “Who are you? My enemy?”

“I was informed someone who’s plotting to throw over my dad is here. My name’s Michael Leonhardt and I’m quite confused why it’s a human.”, the somebody replies.

Ketsuki explains: “Well, you kinda pulled the ass card because I’m the strongest and someone else is already in your dad’s office.”

In the Kanzler’s office, Raiden knocks on the door and then kicks it out of the doorframe instantly after. Maximilian uses a shield generator to shield himself and the door breaks into pieces.

Raiden enters with his hands and feet already charged and shouts: “Today’s the day, bastard. You made yourself an enemy by killing my friend, treating another friend like shit and destroying my ship!”
