"new b-komachi...?"
how exactly did kotori get into this situation? let's recap.
after the wrap up party, mem-cho joined b-komachi. nozomi, kotori's manager, had called her in for a meeting. what she didn't expect was aqua and miyako to be there too.
"yes, the new b-komachi is looking for more members," aqua said. "you just so happened to come to mind."
nozomi seemed excited for her response, "we've talked and i think you have the potential to be an idol. they will split the profits as well."
kotori's breath hitched at the mention of being an idol. her mind immediately thought about her death. what if it happens again?
she clenched her jaw, "er, i don't really think i can be an idol..."
aqua and miyako seemed surprised, especially aqua. he saw a lot of resemblance of ai in her and yet... she didn't want to?
"kotori, this can benefit your image," nozomi spoke softly.
"i... i don't want to," she said firmly. "please excuse me..."
she stood up and walked out of the room. aqua looked at her curiously, he looks at miyako. he then stood up and followed after her.
the pink haired girl was crouched down, her back against the wall. she breathed heavily as her hands shook. aqua found her, seeing that she was trembling a lot.
"akiyama," aqua's monotone voice interrupted her near panic attack.
she looked up at him and he sat down next to her.
"why don't you want to be an idol?" he questioned, his tone laced with worry.
she looked down at the floor as she thought to herself, if i said why i'd sound crazy. she sighed softly, "i... i just feel like it won't work out well for me... ai, she died because of a stalker, i'm scared that it'll happen to me too." kotori already had died before in a similar way, she didn't want it to happen again.
aqua went quiet from the mention of ai. he then spoke up softly, "it won't... i'll... i'll protect you." he wasn't sure why he said those words. he just... did.
