"ai, you're lucky," nino said. "i'm no match for you."
they were currently filming ai and nino's farewell scene. aqua watched in the sidelines, watching both kotori and kana.
"why did things turn out this way?" her voice was quiet. she smiles coldly. "i wish i were you, ai."
"what the heck? i want to be like you instead," ai smiled slightly.
"stop that!" nino exclaimed, her eyes darkening. "that's a lie."
she raised her hands up dramatically, "just ask those people over there. if we stand side by side and ask them, "who do you think is cuter?"" she puts her hands down. "every one of them will say "ai." the same goes for the fans. they'll say exactly that."
"who is more attractive? who do you wanna go on a date with? who-" she then raised her voice, tears forming in her eyes, "ai, ai, ai, ai, ai! they'll all choose you!"
"..." ai commented. "nah, i don't think so."
"you always dodge questions like that. you're not even interested in me, are you?" nino accused.
"i am."
"liar," she coldly responds. she clenches her fist, her hand trembling. "i'm doing my best too, you know? i practice more seriously than anyone else. and yet-"
she begins to cry.
"i hate you," nino said, tears streaming down her cheeks. "i hate you so much."
ai tried to reach out to her as she screamed, "i wish you'd just die!!"
kotori felt a cold feeling overcoming her. she was reminded of yuu. "i hate you! i wish you'd just die!!" yuu would scream at her. "just disappear already!" but even so, aimi would always forgive her.
