Setting: Greenville Square

*munch, munch*

(Y/N): Psst, sweetcheeks pass the popcorn

Sable: *annoyed* Don't call me that... and here

(Y/N): *whispers* Thank you... I've seen this movie, I can't remember the name.

Sable: *whispers* The Exorcist

Confirming the film's name, Sable subsequently took back the bucket of popcorn, much to (Y/N)'s dissatisfaction as he only managed to grab a small handful. The two survivors continued watching the movie, completely forgetting they were in the middle of a trial. (Y/N) let out a fake yawn and slings his arm around Sable's shoulder catching her off guard. Despite being nervous, uncomfortable, and slightly irked, Sable being the tomboy that she is, allowed him to have his arm around her shoulder but not before punching his arm. (Y/N) ignores the pain and the two continue watching the movie. Sable uncomfortably ate her snacks, secretly she found warmth being close to him, although she would never admit it. She shifts slightly to create some distance between him but doesn't move away completely. To Sable, it felt odd. She never expected to have her personal space invaded by a boy of all people. She was always considered weird and out of place in her hometown, Greenville. The only one who ever understood her was her friend Mikaela. Sable was too deep in thought to notice (Y/N) looking troubled. The (H/C) man sighed as he recalled prior events.

Flashback: After the encounter with Chucky

First Person Pov

I was leading Maria back to the campfire. I swear these trials are getting more and more ridiculous the more time I spend here. The whole walk through the forest, I did my best to reassure Maria that everything would be alright, temporarily obviously. I don't want to admit that I am worried, or to better put it that I am scared. I've been studying the Entity's realm for a while now, and so far, there's no escape. Death is not an escape. We're all trapped in an endless loop for all eternity.

As soon as we reached the campfire, I noticed Maria head over to James. It was strange for James to Maria again, I would've listened to their conversation until I caught sight of Lisa, exiting her tent. Presumably, she must've just woken up from her slumber. What happened next left me stunned. Lisa was exiting her tent with David. She must've moved on so fast, I couldn't think straight. Many emotions raced through my mind.

Third Person pov

"Lisa, what the hell?!" (Y/N) went on to confront the blonde nurse. Hearing his raised voice, Lisa became tensed and felt scared. "(Y-Y/N)...." Lisa stammered out and looked down at her feet, unable to look at him. Their previous falling out started to resurface once more. (Y/N) took hold of Lisa's wrist, using a bit of force. "(Y/N), you're hurting" Lisa winced as the (H/C) man loosened his grip slightly. "Why? Everything we did together. Did it not have any significant meaning to you?" (Y/N) grumbled. "I-It's complicated. Sometimes, I think about our time together" The blonde nurse vocalized her feelings before continuing. "I need time, please give me some space" Lisa spoke quietly and glanced at him with a tender expression. Lisa was about to reach out to (Y/N) only for David to shove him away. "Fucking hell, I turn my back for one moment and you're already hitting on my girl? Back the fuck off you, cock sucker, she's mine" David growled, he was about to teach (Y/N) a lesson but Lisa acting quickly, grabs his arm. "David, please don't" She begged. David stepped back and kissed Lisa. The nurse's eyes widen in shock and pushes David away. "Not here...." She said timidly, her expression hurt and ashamed.

(Y/N) could only watch as Lisa and David walked away. He was unresponsive for a moment. Seeing another man kiss the woman he loved, hurt. The thought of going after Lisa and winning her back crossed his mind. His day felt ruined, and slowly he started losing all hope in surviving in the realm.
