Christmas Chapter

Location: South Korea

The sound of classic Christmas music played on the speakers of the stereo as a certain (H/C) man was seen chilling on the couch munching on gingerbread, watching (F/M). Joining him on the couch was an unlabeled girl, listening to heavy metal music as she researched urban legends/myths.

"Sable, what you reading?" The man curiously asked, only to be ignored by the blaring music blasting into the horror enthusiast's ears. "Sable!!!" He called out again in a louder tone to get attention. It was after nudging Sable's arm did she remove her headphones. "Yeah, what do you want, Mr grinch?" Sable questioned in an uninterested voice.

"Hmm? How dare you?! I have plenty of holiday cheer for me to be compared to the mean one" (Y/N) crossed his arms. "You say that but you're wearing a Bah humbug shirt" Sable pointed out before poking (Y/N)'s shirt. "Hold it, that doesn't mean anything!" (Y/N) argued back as Sable rolled her eyes "Whatever, the holidays suck anyways"

(Y/N) swings his arm around Sable's neck "I can already guess why. Spending time with family isn't for everyone. It's kind of nice that Yun-Jin allowed us to spend Christmas at her penthouse. So this is what it feels like to be in a rich girl's house. Speaking of Yun-Jin, where is she? She said she needed to finish up some last-minute work" (Y/N) said

"Yun-Jin had said about stopping to get some food prior to coming back" Sable answered and plopped a candy cane in her mouth. "Knowing Lisa, she's stuck working overtime at the hospital. It's always busy around the holidays, although she did say she would drop her shift as soon as possible."

"Ugh, my stomach's rumbling at the mention of chicken, and not just any chicken, Korean fried chicken." (Y/N) added as Sable chortled "Chicken's decent, nothing special." The two's attention perked at the sound of the front door opening. Entering was Yun-Jin carrying a bag of food, dressed in festive attire. Sable gave her a quick 'hey' while (Y/N) was too busy eyeing Yun-Jin's outfit. "Cute outfit, I love the puma skin antlers"

"Are you blind? They're not antlers. How on earth could that have crossed your mind?" Yun-Jin exasperated, walked over to place the food on the table. "Is there a functional brain cell in that thick skull?" Yun-Jin spat, hand placed on her hip. "I don't know" (Y/N) simply said as he went over to grab some chicken. Yun-Jin Lee scoffed at the man's antics. "Very typical behavior from an incompetent detective."

"Yup, that sounds about right, and I happily admit it" (Y/N) shot back as Yun-Jin facepalmed. "You're always mean to me, Yun-Jin. Thankfully enough I love my woman feisty" (Y/N) dropped his half-eaten chicken at the table before hugging Yum-Jin Lee. Caught by surprise, she only stared at him with an annoyed expression. "What do you think you're doing?" Her voice laced with venom all the while Sable watched in amusement.

"What's it look like? And you're supposed to be the smart one. Before you shove me away, don't deny you like this" (Y/N) smiled softly, Yun-Jin Lee stood silent as she tried to maintain some semblance over the situation. Soon she relaxed in the (H/C) man's embrace and rested her head on his chest. Unfortunately, the moment is cut short followed by his comment. "You can rely on me whenever you're alone in this big penthouse. Just a reminder, you're my Sugar Momma~" Immediately Yun-Jin Lee pulled her away, emotions flowing into her head. "As if" She muttered under her breath.

(Y/N) brushed Yun-Jin Lee's hair and pulled her in for a kiss. At first, Yun-Jin Lee was taken aback and resisted but soon melted in the kiss. Her hands gripped (Y/N)'s shirt tightly and pulled him deeper into the kiss. The two were fixated on the kiss, completely ignoring everything else. After what seemed like a minute, the two pulled away gasping for air. Staring into each other's eyes it was evident both liked the kiss. The two were about to make out once more but Sable cleared her throat. "Hey, I'm still here. You lovebirds should save it behind closed doors. It's still too early for anything sexual" Glancing at the clock, (Y/N) knew Sable was right. "I'm not familiar with the time zones in South Korea but it's seven o'clock, correct?" He turned to look at Yun-Jin Lee who nodded in response. "It is seven"

"Time's going slow" (Y/N) said as he joined Sable back on the couch. "While you were busy locking lips with Yun-Jin, I changed the movie. I hope you don't mind I put on Terrifier 3. Not that I care about what you think" Sable said as (Y/N) pecked her cheek, Sable hummed in response, not minding the small affection. "Don't mind at all. You know I like gory horror movies. It's one of the things we have in common." (Y/N) made himself comfy on the couch, Yun-Jin Lee joining on later. The whole time, (Y/N) and Sable were engrossed in the movie except for Yun-Jin Lee whose eyes were glued to her phone.

Later on, Lisa arrived. Her shift at the local hospital had just finished. "I'm back," She said to the trio and dropped her bag. "Hey there beautiful, how was work?" (Y/N) got up from the couch and gave her a small kiss on the lips. "Tiring but I'm glad I got to help so many patients," Lisa replied as she removed her name tag. "How was yours?"

"Being off duty can be boring. Chilling out with Sable saved me from boredom" (Y/N) led Lisa to the couch. "Overall moving to South Korea wasn't such a bad idea. I'm liking my time here... with all of you" (Y/N) glanced at the three girls sitting with him. "I was pretty skeptical about moving to South Korea, though I'm up for any solution to get away from my parents. Sucks I had to leave behind Mikaela" Sable calmly said. "Yeah that does suck, she was nice. But look around, we're having a blast aren't we?" (Y/N) asked as Lisa smirked. "Oh, so you find taking advantage of Yun-Jin's hospitality to be considered having a blast?" Lisa questioned as Yun-Jin's eyes narrowed at (Y/N).

"What? No. C'mon, you know how much I care for Yun-Jin." (Y/N) spoke and glanced at Yun-Jin Lee. "He did call her, his Sugar Momma" Sable interjected, much to Lisa's amusement. "Sable, why?" All he could do was facepalm as Lisa giggled. Yun-Jin Lee remained silent, secretly she wasn't opposed to being (Y/N)'s Sugar Mommy, although she refused to ever admit it.

The four talked amongst themselves while watching Terrifier 3. (Y/N) and Sable watched with interest, Lisa looked away whenever a gory scene appeared, and Yun-Jin Lee kept saying how bad and stupid the movie was. Most of the night was spent watching Christmas movies ranging from horror to kid-friendly films.

"Seeing all these Christmas movies is making me appreciate what I have in front of me. You know, there's no one else I'd rather spend Christmas with than you three" (Y/N) said as Lisa slipped a Santa hat on his head. "The feeling's mutual, dear" Leaning forward to kiss his lips tenderly. "You're much more bearable than my parents, so there's that, I guess," Sable said as (Y/N) brought her into a hug. "I wasn't rather sure about letting you stay here. Nevertheless, I will admit that you brought some joy into this penthouse" Yun-Jin Lee said as she leaned forward to flick (Y/N)'s forehead. "Ow, talk about seasons beatings" Mumbling to himself, the pain on his forehead didn't matter much. All (Y/N) could think of was the company of the girls in front of him. He knew their time together was just getting started.
