the sun was finally setting, and the party was growing closer and closer.
everyone was getting fairest for it, including myself. cupid asked me if i would dress up with her, and i absolutely couldn't refuse.
i was wearing a pretty purple dress with lilac, pink, and black accents with a pair of matching heels. i let my hair down, decorating it with a small braid at the side. and as a gift for helping her, cupid gave me a pair of sparkling pink earrings to go with my outfit.
once i'm finished getting dressed, there's a light knock on my door. i leave my vanity and open it, where i'm met with the sight of the one and only dante charming.
he's about to say something, but stops before he can even utter a single word. he takes a deep breath before smiling softly at me. "you look.. beautiful."
his words send a shiver down my spine. i smile. "why, thank you, good sir."
dante holds out his arm for me to take, which i gladly do. "just stating the facts, princess."
i laugh, muttering a soft, "oh, please."
dante rolls his eyes, a warm smile still plastered on his pretty face. "are you ready to go?" he asks. i nod.
we meet cupid in her dorm, along with some of the others and sneak off the the party venue.
and it turned out amazing!
the decorations look too good to be true, the venue is full of people, and everyone seems to be having fun.
after a little while of hanging with dante, i go and stand by the punch bowl with briar and hopper. i see raven a moment later.
"raven, over here!" briar calls to her. she sees us and walks over.
"wow, briar! you really know how to throw the most hexcellent parties."
she smiles proudly, "i had some help." she says, gesturing to both me and hopper. briar places a hand on his shoulder. hopper chuckles nervously, fumbling over his words before turning into a frog and falling into the punch bowl.
good thing i already had a cup.
"i appreciate your kind kudos, fair maiden."
we giggle a bit at him. "you're welcome, hopper." i say to him,
maddie pops up right after. "hey guys," she scoops up some punch, along with hopper in the ladle.
"we got the daughter of the pied piper!" briar all but squeals in excitement. i can't blame her. melody is an enchanting dj.
"melody piper?!" maddie smiles.
just then, melody appears at the turntables. "what up, ever after? ready for me to drop some true hearts tunes?"
