raven, maddie, and i were walking down the hall after class was over.
"hm. what's this?" raven stops at my locker, picking up an envelope with her magic. "y/n, it has your name on it,"
"really?" i turn, and raven gently drops the card in my hands. i open it, and read what's written inside.

i looked at you, and we were friends, but then i blinked, and it was sealed, i fell, for your eyes, for your laugh, for your soul, for you, i fell in love

"it's a love poem.." i whisper, reading it over just to make sure i wasn't seeing things. maddie leans in, excited. "oh, a secret note! is there anything more hat-tastic?"
i look at the signature again. d. charming. there's only one charming who would write me a love poem. a blush fights its way to my face.
"it's from dante,"
maddie and raven both smile. me, on the other hand, is screaming internally. dante wrote me a love poem. me. a love poem. my knees go weak. oh my goodness. i'm not seeing things.
"he wrote me a love poem," i repeat.
"yes, he did," maddie giggles, lightly shaking my arm. "a sweet one too!"
the fact finally settles in my head. i read it again, and smile at his handwriting. dante wrote me a love poem.
