Detective D's eyes widened in confusion as he stared at the mark on his arm, "so that the meaning of this weird birthmark that inspired my name" Dectective D thought,
"This mark," Fredrickson continued, his voice filled with venom, " was placed on the priest who was responsible for my Mariah's death. I marked him with this symbol, this 'D', as he lay dying, his life slipping away. And now, it reappears on you, proof that you are the reincarnation of that treacherous priest."
Fredrickson's grip on Detective D's arm tightened, his nails digging into his skin."You see, Detective, you are not just any man. You are the embodiment of my vengeance, the culmination of centuries of searching. And now, you will pay for your past transgressions."
The air seemed to grow thick with tension as Fredrickson's words hung in the air, his presence radiating an aura of dark anticipation.
Fredrickson's eyes gleamed with a malevolent intensity as he continued, his voice dripping with venom. "I have already killed Rodriguez, that useless woman who lured my beloved Mariah into treachery with her deceitful whispers. Samantha, My minions , one of your kind then , took care of Edward James and John, those insignificant pawns And now, you are the last one on my list. The final piece of a centuries-old vendetta. I have already gotten what I wanted from the other few useless people who were also reincarnated, but you... you are the ultimate prize."
Detective D burst into laughter, trying to kill time, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Edward James and John are still very much alive, Fredrickson.
Fredrickson's expression snapped into anger upon hearing those statements, his face reddening with rage. "What? You think you can mock me? You think this is a joke?
Dectective D answered "Edward James and John are alive and well Fredickson, your minions failed"."It is true, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. And I always finish what I start. I guess your death is delayed then," Fredrickson sneered, his voice dripping with venom, as he turned to leave.
"Wait, Fredrickson! What's your story?" Detective D asked, curiosity getting the better of him, his eyes locked on Fredrickson's retreating back. "What drives a man like you to seek revenge across lifetimes?"
"I would have told you, Damon," Fredrickson replied, his voice dripping with malice, as he spun back around, his eyes glinting with a sinister light." But you do not need to know.
Just then, Pedro arrived with a team of department officers, led by Constable Octavio. The Constable stepped forward, his eyes fixed intently on Fredrickson. "Fredrickson, you're under arrest for the murder of Rodriguez and the kidnapping of miss Mariah Carey and Mrs Fernanda blackwood, turn around and put your hands behind your back.
Suddenly, Fredrickson's eyes glowed yellow, a fierce gust of wind erupted, causing destruction and chaos. The officers were swept away by the powerful gusts, struggling to maintain their footing. Amidst the turmoil, Pedro managed to take cover beside Detective D, shielding himself from the wind's fury.
"Detective D!" Pedro yelled above the wind, his voice laced with urgency. "I know Fredrickson's weakness! I've studied the ancient texts and built upon Samantha's research before her tragic death."
Detective D's eyes locked onto Pedro, his expression intense with curiosity. "What is it, Pedro? But before Pedro could respond, Samuel, who had been separated from the group, stumbled towards them, his eyes fixed on Fredrickson with a mix of fear and determination. "What's his weakness?" Samuel shouted, his voice barely audible over the howling wind.
Pedro's eyes widened as he grasped the significance. "The mark he gave you, Detective D, is the key! You haven't accepted the deal yet, so he can't kill you. But the symbol...the symbol is the start of the spell"  he showed them the book "It's the only spell that can destroy him or weaken him."
Detective D's gaze fell upon the mark on his arm, and then back at Fredrickson, who was still radiating an otherworldly energy. "He unknowingly revealed his own weakness," Detective D muttered, a plan forming in his mind.
Pedro nodded fervently. "Yes! We can use this symbol to our advantage. We need to find a way to read out the spell and turn it against him." Samuel, still shaken, looked at them with a mix of confusion and determination. "Let's do it. Let's stop him before it's too late."
The three of them huddled together, ready to face Fredrickson , "Detective you have to read out this magic spells as loudly as you can without a mistake, Detective D once you start no matter what you must never stop." Pedro warned
Detective D took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on the symbol on his arm, and began to recite the magic spell in a loud, clear voice:

"Darkness of the earth, heed thy call!
By the power of the ancient ones, I enthrall!
Fredrickson, son of darkness, hear my command!
Your power shall be bound, your evil shall disband!"

As he spoke, the wind starts died down, and an eerie silence fell over the scene. Fredrickson's yellow-glowing eyes narrowed, his expression twisting in rage.Pedro and Samuel watched in awe as Detective D continued:

"By the symbol of the my arm, I seal your fate!
Your destruction is near, your time is late!
Heed the call of the earth, and return to the night!
Fredrickson, your power shall be no more, by the power of the light!"

The air seemed to vibrate with energy as Detective D finished the spell. Fredrickson let out a deafening roar, his body beginning to tremble with fury, Fredrickson with all his might conquer a magic spell and unleashed a killing magic blow to stop detective D,
Samuel leapt into the path of the attack, his eyes locked on Detective D. The spell struck Samuel with incredible force, sending him flying backward. He crumpled to the ground, his body motionless.
Detective D's voice about to stop but he remembered Pedro warning, his determination fueled by Samuel's sacrifice. He continued the spell, his words ringing out with increased urgency:
"By the power of the ancient ones, I command!
Fredrickson, your darkness shall be disarmed!
Your evil shall be vanquished, your power shall cease!
By the symbol of my arm, I bring you to your knees!"
The air seemed to shudder as Detective D spoke the final words of the spell. Fredrickson stumbled backward, his eyes wide with shock and rage. His body began to tremble, his dark energy faltering.
Detective D rushed to Samuel's side, tears streaming down his face. "Samuel, no! Please, no!"
As Detective D cradled Samuel's lifeless body, a wave of grief and anger washed over him. Pedro picked up Detective D and shot Fredickson multiple times, suddenly Mariah Carey's startled gasp. It seems like seeing Fredickson struck down bring back memories
"Wait, what's happening?" Mariah exclaimed, her eyes wide with confusion. "I'm seeing things... memories that aren't mine. Fredrickson... and me... together."
Detective D's eyes narrowed, his grip on Samuel's body tightening. "What do you mean? What memories?"
Mariah's face contorted in distress." I see us holding hands, kissing... and then... I see him leaving me. No, that's not right. I'm seeing it from his perspective. He's remembering my laughter."
Pedro's eyes widened in shock. "That's impossible. Mariah, you're not connected to Fredrickson."
But Mariah shook her head, her eyes fixed on Fredrickson. "I don't know what's happening, but I feel it. I feel his memories, his emotions. And I see myself happy with him."
With that, Mariah rushed to Fredrickson's side, her movements driven by a force beyond her control. Detective D's grip on Samuel's body tightened, his tears falling for the first time since meeting Samuel.
Memories of their time together flashed before his eyes - their late-night conversations, their unwavering trust, and their unshakeable bond. All the time Samuel bought him his morning coffee.
