"captain can I ask you something?"
Captain "what is it?"
Shipmate "do you think having more ships together is a good way to stop us from being sunk?"
They were sailing 2 other ships usually ships travel all alone
Captain "well the more ships together the more we can watch each other besides I don't think the Grimm is behind this"
Shipmate "what makes you say that sir?"
Captain "in all my years as a ship captain never have Grimm been this aggressive towards ships"
Shipmate "then what? Do you think someone is behind this?"
Captain "I think so but I'm stuck on who would do this?"
Shipmate "well if there is someone behind this I'm sure someone will figure it out"
Captain "maybe so"
Shipmate "I mean if you're so concerned about it maybe you should hire a huntsmen to find out"
The captain sighed
Captain "I guess we could do that"
The captain activated the comm
Captain "this is VMS gold to VMS sword do you detect anything underneath the surface?"
Sword "negative Gold we detect nothing"
Captain "good"
The captain sighed in relief
Shipmate "Captain? Is another ship supposed to be joining us?"
Captain "what?"
Shipmate "there off the starboard"
The captain grabbed his binoculars and looked at the ship
It didn't look like any naval vessel he has seen because of its design
But the most notable thing about the ship was it's big guns
3 big ones two at the front one at the back both 3 barreled. In the side was two Smaller guns that were double barreled
Comms officer "sir we are receiving a communication"
The captain went over to the comms
Captain "this is captain Evans of VMS Gold who am I speaking to?"
"This Capitano di Vascello Zara of RN Inigo Campioni" said a voice with a strange accent
Captain "why have you contacted us?"
Zara "we are requesting all 3 of you come to a full stop and prepare for boarding"
Captain "and why would we do that?"
Zara "I assume you have seen our ship's guns Sì? I think we both know this won't end well so please surrender and I swear I will spare the lives of every sailor on your ships if you don't resist us"
Captain "what is it you want from our ship?"
Zara "all I want is your cargo"
Captain "can I think this over."
Zara "you don't have time for that you have to make a decision now, your lives or the supplies"
Captain "people need these supplies we aren't giving them up"
Zara "so be it, you and your men will die with honor"
The captain switched his comms to the other ships
