Up close the substance was a strange sticky, dark, inky, indigo color. Ash examined the fabric closely, noticing that the dark, sticky substance had an almost unnatural shimmer in the daylight as if it absorbed and distorted the light around it.

"Disgusting." Ash groans as he wipes the goo off his fingers. The Goo slides down his fingers wrapping around the fingers and leaving a trail of disgusting sticky goo.

At this point the Boy started to shake his hand the substance flicked around the area, but some of the substance managed to stay on his hand. It was as if the dark, sticky substance had a will of its own, shifting around his fingers, tightening its grip, and even beginning to slice into his skin. Blood seeped out the tips of his fingers.

Ash's eyes widened as he felt the pain of the cuts and the squeezing goop. He looked around and noticed a puddle of water. He quickly ran to the puddle as the goo went down to his wrist wrapping around it and tightening like it was cutting off circulation. Soon enough it stabbed Ash's wrist like he was stamping a knife into his wrist. He grunts through the pain as he gets down on his knees and sticks his hand into the puddle.

The dark goo sizzled and dissolved upon contact with the water, leaving Ash's hand covered in a stinging residue. As he pulled his hand out, he noticed a strange symbol etched into his skin where his wrist was, glowing faintly with an eerie light.

Ash stared at the symbol on his wrist, his mind racing with confusion and fear. "What is this?" he muttered, trying to make sense of the glowing mark. "This can't be good..." Ash stands up brushing his hair back. "Oh god, Aston what did you get yourself into!?" He asked himself to panic.

This was certainly an Unsettling Discovery.
