TORI

Theo and I eloped months before the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Clarissa Jade Edwards. Named after my mother, she weighed a healthy seven pounds and three ounces at birth. Our little angel was born on May 23, with eyes mirroring her father's and hair of the purest golden blonde.

"She's beautiful, just like her mother," Theo said.

With a smile, I clasped my beloved baby's hand, feeling her small fingers curl around mine. "It's hard to believe she's here, right? Mom would have been overjoyed to meet her grandchild, especially one who bears her name."

My father and Hayley sat beside me and smiled at baby Clarissa. "Your Mom would be so proud of you, kiddo. I know I am."

My Dad and I have had many rough patches since we first met. I blamed him for Theo's vanishing months ago even though I had a letter written to me partially explaining the matters Theo had to attend to. My father was still President and had a few years left. We patched up our relationship and were one big happy family this time.

Manson Gourmet was doing great; if you're wondering, Dominic was too. Our relationship was short and sweet, but we will always have a good bond. After all, he is still the godfather of my child. Dominic found love elsewhere when, one day, she stumbled into the restaurant. Brielle caught his eye, and they have been dating for a month. My father was happy she found a decent man who wasn't several years older than her. Dominic didn't have a bad bone in his body, and I knew he was good for my sister.

Everything happens for a reason, and I'm glad that it does.

While I'm out here living my life with my newborn daughter and new husband, I hope you choose to live every day like tomorrow isn't promised. Hold your loved ones tight every chance because you don't know what the day will bring.

I didn't know my life would turn upside down and lead me to need a bodyguard—a bodyguard I would soon fall in love with, marry, and have a child with. Life isn't perfect, and that's okay. My story turned out fine.
