DATES AND DEATHS

Eliora Kiran's POV

"What are you guys going to do today?" Kuya Dan asked while munching on his pancakes.

I only shrugged and sipped my milk. Oo nga ano. I still don't know what I needed to do today. Tinatamad naman akong mag-train so baka pumunta na lang ako sa ministry, and accept two to three commissions today. I am lazy, but I can't possibly waste this day, because it is nearing.

It has been exactly two months since Kuya Draven disappeared or erm...escaped. Today is November 18, 2021. Kaunti na lamang at malapit na ang supposed to be ay pag-sacrifice sa kanya. Mabuti na lang talaga at nakatakas siya. I don't think I can accept it if he will die in the hands of those gods.

Within the past months, there have been a lot of changes, lalo na nitong mga nakaraang araw. I don't know how, but I think that we're nearing the final stage of our divinity. Each one of us had undergone physical changes. We also don't have any idea how all of these happened. We did intense training, accepted numerous missions, and we created a lot of complex sword arts.

One example of these changes is the color of my eyes. They were now yellow most of the time. It is getting hard for me to revert it back to my normal eye color which is brown. The best that I can do is to revert it back to light yellow. It also is the same for the others, except Kuya Dei. Ate Dillon's eyes were now almost always bluish-green. Ngayon ay mas nakakalunod na kung tumingin ang daughter ni Tito Poseidon. Kuya Dan's are bright red, which are also fiery. Minsan ay nakakatakot nang makipagtitigan sa kanya kasi baka mamaya ay mapaso ako. Ali's eyes were now like the moons, and they were very pretty, as in! They were amazing to look at.

Kuya Dei's, on the other hand, are weird. His eyes were now dark gray with some gold streaks on it. Pero ang weird talaga kasi 'yung right eye niya, it turns to crystal blue sometimes! It was cool, but it was also intimidating! Hindi nga rin namin ma-figure out kung kanino niya nakuha ang crystal blue eyes. Hindi ganoon ang kulay ng mata ng parents niya. Tito Zeus has dark blue eyes, while Tita Franz had emerald green, like her mother. Pero his gray eyes were now permanent. He told us he cannot revert it back to his black ones. Does that mean Kuya Deion is more powerful than before? Gaano ka-intense ba ang trainings na ginawa niya?

I am not sure, but when Kuya Draven left, I almost could not see Kuya Dei inside the base. He was almost never home. I can only feel all his wounds and his low energy level late at night when he comes home. One night nga e naabutan ko siya noong kumukuha ako ng water. Puro galos ang katawan niya at para bang kakagaling niya lang sa labanan. He has been working his ass off since that day when the news of Kuya Draven escaping came out. He also looks more intense now. His gaze is calm, but you can sense his power through his eyes, and believe me, it was the most amazing yet intimidating thing ever. Pero everyone knows that he became more gwapo than before. His body is even better now. May pinopormahan ba 'to si kuya? Sino kaya ang lucky girlie?

When he noticed I was looking at him, he raised his brows. Iih! Scary! Someone, please save me, anyone! Then, Nimbus hooted out of nowhere, and dropped something in front of his master before disappearing again. Because of that, Kuya Dei's eyes were not on me anymore. Whew! Save by the hoot!

When I peeked at the note, I saw some numbers written on it, together with some symbols of a crescent moon and a sun. Huh? What are those for?

3:03 - sun, 8:00 - moon

6:06 - sun, 8:07 - moon

09:09 - sun, 8:14 - moon

12:12 - sun, 8:21 - moon

These were the numbers and symbols written on the paper when Kuya Dei showed us what it was. He's squinting his eyes like he knows what all of these are for. "Teka, 'di ba ang mga 'yan 'yung numbers sa riddles ng Moirais?" Ali asked while scanning the note. Tumango lang si Kuya Dei at ipinagpatuloy ang pagkain. Nang tumigil siya ay nagsalita siya ulit. "I don't know why but Nimbus keeps on pestering me about this notepad. It seems like he was telling me something." Oh, I get it now.
