MY FINGER hovers above the video-call button, and then after a few seconds I press it, watching it ring twice before Max picks up.
"sup mate, you good?" He asks, and I nod my head, propping my phone down onto a pillow and pressing pause on the show I was watching.
"I'm fine, stuck here alone though, everyone else is at the club partying" I tell him, fiddling with the ring on my finger.
"That sucks, now tell me why you called"
I swallow twice, pushing away the feeling in my stomach. "You know Delilah and I have a relationship right?"
"Well yeah of course, it's kind of obvious, why?"
I gasp, and then I start talking. I tell him about Delilahs stalker, about how she felt so unsafe, and about how she stayed with me after that. I tell him about our 'fake dating' deal, about how we've became so close in such a short time, and about how she seems so happy.
"Damn, I would've never assumed it was fake" He states after i'm done ranting, and a laugh escapes my lips.
"It just comes so naturally, we're really good at this" I smile. "although I feel like i'm going to complicate it so much"
