The life of Delilah hasn't always been easy. With the high of Lance Stroll, her older brother, making it into the Aston Martin team of Formula one, she tended to be the 'forgotten daughter'.
She tried everything to be noticed by her father. She got good grades in high school, started studying to become a mechanic and everything else that may have made her father be proud, but nothing ever seemed to work.
Of course, he payed attention to her, but not as much or as often as he payed attention to Lance.
She raced in formula 2 because her father demanded too, and successful she was, but after a heartbreaking accident, she was too scared to get into a car again,
She tried to be a model, which made her mother proud, but it was a short lived career and not one meant for her.
And now, after living in New York for nearly two years, her father decided to get into contact again. He wanted her to join them when Lance had to race in Silverstone.
Delilah didn't get why. Formula one interest her, yes she liked cars, yes somewhere deep down she wanted to start racing again, become a formula one driver just like her brother, but the idea of being surrounded by snobby drivers who made way too much money made her gag.
Still, she found herself spending a week at their family home in Montreal before they had to leave to Silverstone, and still, she didn't really get why.
After all, there wasn't really a reason why she should come to the tracks, right?
