WALKING THROUGH the McLaren garage and wearing it's signature orange color still felt so surreal. I couldn't believe I made it on the team, but I did.
I told Zak I accepted his job offer on Christmas, three months before the season started, and he was ecstatic to say the least. He was and still is so happy to have me here, and it makes me happy too.
Everyone has been so supportive, the fans, the media, the other drivers. Even my brother was happy things turned out the way it did. He sent me a congrats text as soon as he saw the post on Instagram, telling me he was truly happy to see me like this.
