So how does a superhero get ready for a date? Same as everybody else. Everyone tells you to just be yourself. But who is that really?

I just hate first dates. Wanna know why? The nerves. Even if the person is your best friend, you still get the first date jitters. But why do we have them in the first place?

I walk outside the house and see Barry standing there with a single flower in his hand.

"Is that single flower for me?" I ask Barry as I walk up to him.

"Is this dumb? I thought about getting a full bouquet, but then I thought that was weird." Barry tells me.

"It's sweet." I tell him as I take the flower from his hand.

"All right." Barry tells me and takes my arm and leads me towards the restaurant.

I'm eating my spicy taco watching Barry struggle with his as he looks at me before dropping it and drinking his water.

"Yes! I warned you that these are the spiciest tacos in Central City." I tell Barry.

"Oh, I thought you were bluffing." Barry tells me.

"I never bluff about spice. Just say it, I am the champion of all things spicy." I tell him.

"You are the spice champion of Central City." Barry tells me and then drinks some more of his water as I laugh and then his phone buzzes and he answers it, and Barry looks at me.

"Go." I tell him and he speeds away and then speeds back into his chair and fixes his tie.

"What's next?" I ask him.

We're walking down the sidewalk with our drinks in our hands making small talk when his phone buzzes again and Barry answers it and he speeds away and comes back, and we walk to the front of the house.

"Thanks." I tell Barry as I turn to look up at him.

"Yeah." Barry tells me and I lean up and kiss him and then pull away.

"What was that for?" Barry asks.

"To see if I want a second date." I tell him.

"And?" Barry asks.

"Let's see one more time." I tell him and then lean back in and kiss him and Barry kisses me back this time before we pull away.

"Definitely a second date." I tell him and Barry smiles at me.

"Dude, you are a crime-fighting lady-slaying machine." Cisco tells us as we walk through Jitters.

"Oh, god, it was so cool." Barry tells him.

"We're going on another date tonight." I tell Cisco.

"Tonight? Really?" Caitlin asks.

"Aren't you worried about moving too fast?" Cisco asks Barry.

"No. What do you mean? It's a second date." Barry tells him as we climb up the stairs to the second level.
