My name is Barry Allen, and I am the fastest man alive. When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father went to prison for her murder. Then an accident made me the impossible, and I became the Flash. I used my powers to find the man responsible for my mother's death. I thought I would finally get justice for my family, but I failed. It's been six months since the singularity. I'm on my own now. Decided it's better that way. Keeps the people I care about safe. There's only one thing I can do now. I run.

My name is Rose West, and an accident made me into the impossible. Six months ago, there was a singularity that almost took out Central City. My boyfriend Barry Allen's decided to fight crime all alone now which has put a damper in our relationship. But me? I haven't used my powers since that day, and I don't plan to. Everyone thinks that the Flash and Witch are heroes that day, but we're not. We're not the real heroes. The mayor wants to give us a key but honestly, I don't think we deserve it. I keep myself busy with work nowadays. It's all I can do now.

"Hey, Cisco. Hi, dad." Iris says as me and Iris walks over to them inside the police department and we hug dad.

"Hey, babies." Dad says as he hugs us.

"Hey, I was wondering if you'd talked to Barry about the rally." Iris tells dad.

"We were just saying." Dad tells her.

"I'm sorry, but, I can't believe they're gonna give the Flash and Witch the key to the city. Although as members of team Flash and Witch, we should all be getting keys." Cisco tells us.

"They should just keep the keys." I tell them.

"Well, you know Barry. The more we try to convince him to do something, the less he's gonna want to do it." Dad tells us.

"Yeah, but he should go. Someone should try and get through to him." Iris tells us as she looks at me.

"Maybe his best friend. Or girlfriend." Dad tells us as he looks at me.

"Joe, believe me, I've tried." Cisco tells him.

"I meant her. Bye, baby." Dad tells us as he motions his head towards me and then walks away and Cisco walks away too.

"Are you going to the rally tomorrow?" Iris asks me.

"No. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a boyfriend to talk to." I tell Iris and then I walk away from her.

"If you ever decided to not be the Flash anymore you have a good future in being a contractor." I tell Barry as I walk into Jitters seeing tools on the counter.

"Thanks. Yeah, I'm just trying to put it all back exactly how it was before the you know." Barry tells me.

"Yeah. There's been talk of a lot of businesses being rebuilt at night. Iris was thinking about writing an article for the paper." I tell him.
