(Rose's outfit)
"The rare opportunity to go back in time and right a wrong and save your mother's life quite the paradox Harrison has presented you with, Mr. Allen." Stein tells him as we all stand in the cortex.
"The chance to be with someone you love? Seems pretty cut and dry to me." Caitlin tells us as she stands next to Ronnie.
"At first blush, Dr. Snow, it would appear so, but this gift has unparalleled risk. Barry, the night your mother died, the night you saved yourself from being killed, that event altered the timeline you were already on and changed the course of history." Stein tells Barry as he walks up to him.
"So, what you're saying is we're living in a parallel universe?" Cisco asks.
"Just like when I time travelled before." Barry tells us.
"But he-he only changed one day that time." Dad tells us.
"Exactly. Now imagine 15 years of compounded experiences. One different decision, no matter how big or small, impacts everything that follows. Moments upon moments, choices upon choices. No relationships, nothing would be as it is today, and you'd never know the difference because you'd never remember any of it." Stein tells us.
"So, if I go back and save my mom, my dad doesn't go to prison. I never live with Joe, Iris and Rose." Barry tells us.
"You might never meet me. Or Caitlin or Ronnie." Cisco tells us.
"You'd might never be dating me." I tell them as I look at Barry.
"Truth is, there's no real way of knowing what your life will be." Stein tells Barry.
"There's no choice here, Barry. You have to do this. You gotta change the past." Dad tells him as he grabs his jacket and walks out, and Barry follows him.

"Iris said I could find you here." I tell Barry as I walk towards him on the rooftop of Jitters."I needed to get out of the lab. I thought this would be a good place to think." Barry tells me.
"Oh, it is. On particular hard days at work or being a superhero, I come up here to think. When you and Iris weren't meeting up as the streak." I tell him and we both chuckle.
"Yeah, not mad we lost that name." Barry tells me.
"It was awful." I tell him and we both laugh.
"It was." Barry tells me.
"So, are you gonna do it?" I ask him.
"It's just so...huge. It's the biggest decision of my life, and if I'm wrong, I can't undo it." Barry tells me.
"Why would you even want to? You'd get to see your mom again, and your dad you'd have a great career, get married. Rose West-Allen, huh? You know I never saw myself as a hyphenator. Must be a future thing." I tell him and then chuckle.
