JUST OUTSIDE OF Shiloh, just before entering Manchester, sits a dingy motel. Bodies and bodies pile up on the outside, lining trucks, streets, everything. The smell of it wafted in the air, flies surround the area of the decaying corpses — and by decaying corpses, they were actually dead, not undead like Sadie has seen since the start. "When did this happen?" She questions, head tilted up at Troy, who looks down at the bodies with a scrunched up nose. He turns to her, "Looks like a couple days, they look like they were all shot to pieces."

At his words, Sadie's brows pinch together, her blue eyes widening at the information. Someone shot them to death, all in the head, from what she can see. A singular, decaying orifice sits on the multiple bodies' foreheads — was this a shoot-out or something more sinister? Sadie didn't know and she didn't want to find out. Without saying anything to Troy, she steps away, walking to the right of the dingy motel.

Troy doesn't stop her, following behind her with a small glance behind his shoulder to the decaying corpses. They continue down the street, entering Manchester and to the horror of Sadie, sits even more bodies with bullets shot into their brain — she didn't like the feeling this town brought, full of death and decay. What she didn't understand, is where was all of the undead? Where did they go? With her head moving left and right, scanning the expanse of the surrounding town, her brows are furrowed and her blue eyes are squinted in confusion as she looks around.

After an hour of walking, with no sign of anything alive or dead, they reach a hotel — one that seems high-end, one that Sadie remembers her and her family staying at when they went on vacation. It looked untouched, no dead bodies to be found, to Sadie, she didn't want to be anywhere near the building like the others previously. But, they needed a place to stay, and with all the bodies surrounding the town, they couldn't camp outside like before. It would be dangerous as who knows what kind of people come into town, especially if the people in it were the ones to cause all the corpses lining the streets of Manchester.

With hesitance, Sadie follows after Troy, helping him clear the hotel and in the next hour, they manage to clear the top floor. Afterwards, Sadie sits on the couch of a hotel room, which sits at the end of the hall, next to the fire-exit. Wringing her hands together, she looks over at Troy, "What are you doing?" He looks up from the pump-action in his hands, his left hand holding shells stopping in place before he goes, "We've got a bit of sunlight left, I'm gonna try to search the buildings around, we're running low on food."
