JoEllen POV

That little fucking bitch. She doesn't deserve a man like that! He was able to get them moved right away to the private little table in the glass room with all the pretty lights hanging from the ceiling and plants all around. I've seen pictures online when they were just doing a quick tour of the place. It's a place that someone like me should be able to eat whenever I want. It's something IG worthy! That's the only content I should be posting. That's the life I'm worthy of. The life I deserve!

Power. People catering to me. People getting me whatever I want, when I want it. That's the life I want.

"I want him." I said to mom and Dave. Dave looked a little thrown, not having seen Becca since she was a teenager and now, she's a mom and wife. Ugh. "I'm going to have him. Because, frankly, she's not worthy of living such a luxurious life. You agree, right mama?" I said with my biggest and best puppy dog eyes. Dave's eyes were glued to the corner where they were sitting until they left. He actually got up and followed them out of the restaurant. He looked fucking pathetic. He ignored her for years. He didn't try to get in touch after she left. That's not what a real dad does.

When he came back to the table, he suggested leaving them alone. I laughed. Out loud. Because the idea was so...stupid. He didn't care what we'd done to her before, so why in the hell did he care now? What made this idiot gain a conscience? I looked at mom, and she was looking at Dave like he might be right. "Let's talk about this later."

I knew I hadn't lost with that statement; she just wanted it to seem like she was telling me 'No' in front of Dave. She used to do this when that twit still lived at home. I cannot wait to hatch this plan with her. Just wait, dearest sister.

You can keep the baby. Because, gross. No kids ruining my body ever. But I'll get the man, the money, and the power. If I have to get pregnant to trap him, fine. I will. I'll just get rid of it after proving it's true.

Anything to crush this bitch.

First things first. I have to run his name, which I can do at work as the secretary for one of the top lawyers in the city. I can also send her some letters with my boss' letterhead. I'll just have to suck his dick a little more this week. I might actually have to let him fuck me. Gross. He's...old. Like older than mom and Dave.

After I figure out this guy's name, I'm going to get his address and follow him. Find out his favorite places, so I can just show up where he is, like fate. Guys are simple and fall for that shit all the time. It's how I have sugar daddies! More like married men, I've fucked and blackmailed them with telling their wife...unless they paid. It helps me to live the life I want. Some have fallen through because they're pansies who tell on themselves. Stupid fucking guilt. Some guys are desperate enough to pay.

I've still got a decent amount coming in from that alone. Plus, my pay from my lawyer and the extra for my...services. I should be able to afford a week off so I can follow my first husband. I say first because, well, we all know I'm not made for just one man. I'm too fabulous.

Mother decided to come with me for a few days. That way I could get his schedule down. The weekend was easier because I was off work. Dave kept trying to get us to leave Becca alone. But, like come on. You had years to stick up for her. Why now?

After following him for two weeks and seeing pretty much what his schedule was, I decided to make the first approach. It was lunchtime during the week, and I knew I needed to grab something for myself and the old man. Seemed he was meeting someone at a place near the hospital. Thank God my office is only two blocks down. Walking into the café, I saw it was mainly pastries and sandwiches with coffee. Ugh. I hate carbs. Whatever. Extra hour at the gym tonight then.

Becca POV

Walking into the café, I saw Cameron standing in line, waiting on his order. He looked up from his phone as my phone pinged twice. One was from him. One was from an unknown number.

Cameron: Ordered for you too babe. Think your step-sister's following me.

Unknown: Your husband's too good-looking for you. Attached was a picture of Cameron putting his wallet into his back pocket, his cut showing, so there was no mistaking him.

I walked up to Cameron, hugging his waist. He turned, arms already going around me. "Hey handsome." I smiled up at him. He smiled back, kissing my forehead.

"Hey there beautiful lady." Swoon. I swear. They called his road name, and we gathered our tray of food and coffee. I'd picked up a shift today, but Grey wasn't feeling well, so Cameron stayed home with her today. "Grey's good. He looked at me. She's napping, and Kai is working from home. Parker has a late lunch, so we'll be keeping an eye on the kids when he goes to see him."

"Makes sense. We all work very well together." He nodded, taking a bite of his sandwich. Hearing "JoEllen" from the barista behind the counter made me freeze.

"That's her." He mumbled, nodding towards the door where she was walking out. "That's the lady from the other night at the restaurant, right?" I nodded.

"She's vile. I am not comfortable with her. Ever. In any situation. Even if I needed a kidney and hers was a match, please let me die. I want nothing to do with that whole family."

"I know. I know. You've told me what happened." He put his hand on top of mine, "But I want you to know, I think she and your step-mom have been following me for a couple of weeks. I had Hacker pull footage one day when I saw the same car following me."

"That's why you said you weren't coming to get Grey? So, you sent one of the ladies, or I sat outside while a prospect went to get her. No way was I going to let them know what days I would pick her up. She's too precious. I did call the nursery and explain what was going on. I also had Hacker send their pictures to the security at the hospital and flag their faces if they walk in there."

"That seems a bit extreme," I said, sounding skeptical if all this was really necessary.

"Nothing is too extreme when it comes to protecting the two of you. The nursery was also emailed their pictures, along with the director saying they are not to be anywhere near Brody or Grey."

I nodded. He wouldn't do this if he didn't think it wasn't necessary. "Please be careful. She's crazy. Absolutely batshit. And they're all fucking vile. You know this." Now it was his turn to nod.

"She won't get close to me."

This was just a lot. A lot of drama coming back into our boring and peaceful life all because of those people.

I wish they'd fuck off and away!
