"I want my gold." Sandor barked

" It says it clearly right there on that note you'll be repaid in full when the war is over." Thoros countered

"Piss on that! You're nothing but thieves." Sandor demanded throwing down the note.

" We're outlaws. Outlaws steal. You're lucky we didn't kill you." Anguy cut in

" Come try it, archer. I'll shove those arrows up your ass." Sandor hissed before turning to walk away.

" You can't let him go. He's a murderer. He's guilty."

" Not in the eyes of god." Beric countered

"You can't!" Arya demanded

" Enough! The judgment isn't ours to make." Beric countered, as Sandor waited for his sword.

"What about her?"

"Try." Sandor challenged. "Go on and try and take her from me."

"Go in peace, Sandor Clegane. The Lord of Light isn't done with you yet." hoods placed over his head once more he was led out of the cave.

"Sandor," Vaera raced for him, he grabbed her hand leading her out.

They slept under the stars, Vaera asked him to explain every star and constellation for her. He kept her tucked into his side as he explained best he could.

"They are everywhere. Little balls of light."

"What shapes?"

"Lines, blobs."

"Sandor." Vaera countered.

"I dont fucking know." Sandor countered, she chuckled into him.

'Try. Use your imagination."

"Fine." Sandor sighed closing his eyes. His arm wrapped tightly around vaera holding her close.

"Well?"

"I see a dragon."

"Really?"

"No, its late I'm tired, I see the inside of my eyelids." Sandor clarified.

"Sorry." She giggled back. "Goodnight Sandor."

"Night... i got you, Vaera."

"I know." She agreed closing her own useless eyes.

"We are going home right?" Vaera questioned as sandor got comfortable on the ground.

"Yeah baby, we are going home." Sandor agreed. Baby, she thought fondly hoping he didnt see the blush on her cheeks.

"I hear birds." Vaera remarked the next day.

"Aye." Sandor agreed. "It's a bunch of birds." Sandor answered. Vaera blinked back at him. "It's a cauldron of birds." Vaera pictured them swirling above and around them.

"Black birds? Ravens?"

"Looks like it." Sandor agreed.

"How many?"

"You want me to count the fuckers?" Sandor countered.

"Sure." Vaera teased.

"You are fucking with me." Sandor realized.

"What else do you see?" Vaera requested. He glanced around.

"I see trees and leaves and flowers- fuck I didnt say flower-"

"What kind of flowers?" Vaera questioned eagerly.

"You go touch them, i'm going to water the horse." Sandor decided. He led her to the flowers taking her hand in his and reaching it out.

"Thank you.' Vaera answered, he nodded heading back to the horse. He glanced back at her as she gingerly touched the petals. "What color is this one?" Vaera questioned

"Red."

"And this one?"

"Yellow."

"And-"

"Purple."

"are you even looking?" Vaera questioned. he chuckled low in his throat. "SANDOR!" Vaera demanded. His laugh grew as she pouted back at him.

"Come on, back on the road." Sandor instructed reaching for her and helping her onto the horse.

"You are such a liar, I can't believe you." Vaera declared.

"I know, I'm the worst," Sandor agreed climbing up behind her. It was a tight squeeze but better than walking, plus he liked her close.

"Was there even a red flower?"

"Could have been." Sandor agreed. Vaera chuckled shaking her head. "You said use my imagination."

"I did." Vaera agreed. "Last night and you said dragon and then said go to sleep."

"That was the extent of my imagination." Sandor agreed.

"We are going to work on that." Vaera decided.

"Are we?" Sandor countered.

"With me you need the vision to see whats beyond right in front of you."

"You have a good imagination." Sandor agreed. "I'm better with black and white."

"Thats boring." Vaera told him. "Stick with me, Sandor. I will have you dreaming for the stars in no time."

They rode in silence for a little bit before clouds covered the sky and it looked like rain was coming, vaera felt the temperature drop, they didnt get far. They wouldnt be getting home anytime soon if they were constantly getting held up by lord of light followers and rain. Sandor pulled his cloak off and wrapped it around vaera's shivering shoulders.

"Thank you- won't you be cold?"

'I'm alright." Sandor assured. "You will catch your death however."

"My father used to say that when i ran out in my night clothes to see the hounds."

"I remember that.' Sandor admitted. She was always a little thing. "Your father is going to kill me."

"He won't. I won't let him" Vaera assured.

"If we had the stark girl I could use her as further leverage for my life."

"You want to go back and get her?" Vaera questioned. Sandor debated that. She was probably more hassle then she was worth.

Arya ran through the woods. She crossed a stream and kept running. She crouched in the woods, looking back at the Brotherhood's torches burning in the distance. She took flight again but she was grabbed by sandor.

"Kick all you like, wolf girl. Won't do you no good."
