Vaera asked sandor to bring her to the cells to see her brother. She grabbed tight to his arm as he led her down the steps.

"You okay?" Sandor whispered vaera nodded into him.

"It's not my life hanging in the balance." Vaera agreed softly. He wanted to kiss her and tell her everything would be okay but Tyrion was fucked.

"Vaera?" Tyrion called out.

"Three more steps." Sandor whispered she did as instructed and reached out a hand feeling the bars of the cell.

"Im here tyrion." She agreed. He reached through the bars to touch her hand.

" I didn't do this."

" I believe you." she assured him. " I wanted to check on you."

" how is the monster?"

" trying to have you executed." She answered honestly.

" you know the killer could reveal himself to her see her face and she still wouldn't listen. She would still have me hung." Tyrion remarked

" I never knew my mother and seeing how they treat you over the loss of their mother. It made me wonder."

" wonder what sweet girl?"

" if deep down, father resents me for stealing the second love of his life. Or if my mother was no one important."

" she was important to him because she gave him you. His most precious thing in the world." Tyrion added. " he could never resenr you. none of them could."

" you're not the monster they're trying to make everyone believe."

"Vaera..." Jaime whispered " Can I have a word alone with our brother?" She nodded reaching out for sandor he stepped forward wrapping an arm around her

"vaera?" She paused turning to tyrion. " thank you for coming to see me. I love you Vee."

" I love you too, big brother."

They walked in silence   She didn't ask to play their game so he didn't offer up colors for her to guess.  She listened to the crickets singing, the birds chirping and the wind wrestling through the leaves of the trees. She heard a crow in the distance calling out.  Louder This time it called out. Her head turned towards the sound. It sounded like it was getting closer or maybe they were multiple ravens or multiple crows.

" another cauldron of crows?" Vaera finally spoke. Sandor glanced up and around.

" probably just from the maesters."

" you know, I always thought it would be fun to have a pet." Vaera added

" all right what kind of pet?" Sandor asked.

" a dragon. Are used to have dreams of dragons. Three dragons in particular I sort of thought they were like my siblings protecting me." Vaera added.

" and now the first dragon is locked up in a cell." Sandor mused.

" I had a dream the night before the wedding that something bad is going to happen. To tyrion." She clarified.

" you didn't see the kings death?"

" no that wasn't deemed enough to me apparently." Sandor laughed out. " I saw my brother get taken away accused of something he didn't do. I should've tried harder to stop it."

" How many of your dreams come true?"

" well I dream all the time." Vaera countered. " sometimes daydreaming. Other times It's real dreams. But these ones are different. They feel different. It's not just a dream. It's like I'm seeing something. Something that hasn't happened yet."

" don't tell people that they'll think you're a witch." Sandor insturcted. " and I don't want to see your pretty little self short and sweet that you are get burnt up in a fire."

" if I was a witch, would the flames not hurt me?"

" maybe they would drown you. Either way, don't go telling people shit like that. I'm not losing you."

" you never lose me." Vaera whispered. She held his hand now as they walked, not arm and arm like a guard, and his charge normally would be seen but hand-in-hand like the couple that she wanted them to be.

Tywin stared down at them. Sandor over 6 feet tall loomed over vaera. While little vaera only 4 foot 3 and a quarter the Quarter was very important. She had said because she was short enough already and she needed every smidgen she could get

It was well over a two foot difference   But he did suppose that a good garaged be able to protect his charge but they didn't look very professional right now did they?

Tywin debated sending gregor down. The mountain of a man surely wouldn't dare try anything with his daughter. Sandor had stolen her away and somehow into falling for him. Tywin didn't want his little girl tainted by the hound.

"Vaera." he decided to call out she didn't release Sandor's hand, but she turned her face towards the sound of her father's voice. Sandor let go.

" he's up at the balcony calling to you." Sandor remarked

" why did you let go??" Vaera countered. Sandor gave a low chuckle. "Sandor. Hold my hand." He smiled taking her hand again. Tywins eyes narrowed at the sight. " much much better."
