"Isy can you come here a sec?!" I called from the kitchen to my wife who was playing football in the garden with Jordi, earning an annoyed response from our now four year old.

"But Mami is my goalkeeper" He huffed, picking the ball up and holding it in his hands as Isy walked towards the house.

"I just need to talk to Mama for a second and I'll be right back, ok?" She explained before walking through the sliding door and closing it behind her.
"Any news?!" She asked me excitedly, a look of expectation on her face as she silently clapped her hands together.

"She's had the baby" I nodded, speaking quietly so that Jordi wouldn't be able to over hear us.

"Ay dios mio, that's so exciting! I can't believe that they are actually parents"
"Has she sent you any pictures?" She asked, stepping closer to me and peering over my shoulder at my phone screen.

"Mmmhmm" I nodded before loading up the pictures that I'd been sent only a few minutes ago and showing them to my wife.

"Oh my, he's beautiful... has he got a name yet or are they not going to tell us until we meet him?

"Tomás Fredrik Engen-Leon"

Isy's POV

Ingrid and Mapi had announced that they were pregnant when Enzo was about three months old. The excitement in Mapi's face as she handed the scan picture to Ale over the dining table on a night that we had invited them over for dinner was adorable.

"We've got some news" Mapi smiled at Ingrid, looking for the go ahead before reaching into her pocket.

"Have you finally put a ring on her finger Maria?!" Ale joked before being stunned into silence as she took the the black and white image into her hand.

"I think it's better than that" Mapi smiled widely.
"We're having a baby"

"You're having a baby?!" Ale questioned immediately, examining the baby scan in her hand.

"Wow, That's amazing!! Congratulations you two" I stood up and rounded table to embrace our best friends. 

"You're having a baby... I- I can't believe it!" Ale welled up before joining us in our huddle.
"Maria Leon is going to be a Mama... I can't believe that my best friend has finally grown up"

"Thanks I guess" Mapi laughed before being engulfed by my wife.

"How far along are you? When are we becoming Aunties?" Ale questioned further as she moved on to embrace Ingrid, much more gently than she did her best friend.

"I'm due in July, so we're going to have a summer break baby. It's perfect timing really. Mapi is going to get to spend the whole off season at home with me and the baba"

Mapi FaceTimed us that night once the boys had gone to bed, sporting a proud look on her face as she showed us their newborn son wrapped in a blanket in her arms. He was the spitting image of Ingrid, dark hair on top of his head and the same bright green eyes as the Norwegian.

It was the next day when we told Jordi the news, he had been so excited the whole pregnancy. Cuddling up to Ingrid's bump whenever he saw her and constantly talking about how much he wanted to meet his baby cousin in her tummy. As far as he was concerned Mapi and Ingrid were family and their baby was going to be too.
