Hooks POV
It was the next day. The day Bridget said she was leaving, he had to go and see her but he was afraid of saying goodbye. He didn't want to say goodbye, he wasn't sure how to get to wonderland in reality so he was scared he would never see her again.

He knew that he needed to tell Ella too, everything was just happening too fast. He decided to tell Ella first before going to see Bridget because he knew Ella would be furious if she wasn't informed.

He headed to the courtyard where he guessed Charming and Ella would be, which is where they were.

"Hey! Guys!" Hook put his hand up to try and signal them. They looked up at him and waved. "Hey" charming said back. Hook didn't really know what to say, or was it really his place to?

"Need something?" Ella asked, Hook didn't realise he had been stood in silence for so long. "Oh yeah- sorry about Bridget" he started to say but Ella just sighed, "Is some like reconnecting plan? She doesn't want anything to do with me. I understand why, I did promise her I'd always be there.. and well." Ella just stopped talking, she will always be sad about this but she had to learn to accept it.

"Well, Bridget isn't going to be here anymore." Hook decided to quickly say it, like ripping of a bandaid. Ella looked at him, not saying anything. "Wait what?" Charming asked, almost as if he spoke for Ella. Hook kept his head down, "Bridget's leaving. She's going back to Wonderland.. today." He slowly lifted his head, Ella seemed frozen.

"Wha- wait- why?" Ella asked, standing up quickly dropping all her books on the ground.
"She said she doesn't feel accepted here." He felt hurt that she didn't see herself how he saw her, or even how Ella saw her. They used to idolise her positivity and how she always saw the good in people. "I can't let her leave without making things right." Ella walked away, hook knew he wouldn't be able to stop her. Ella was determined to get her best friend back.

Ella's POV
She basically ran to Bridget's room, she knew that Bridget hadn't gone anywhere yet because she could hear muffled music from inside her room. She knocked loudly knowing the music meant Bridget had her headphones on. It took awhile but Bridget opened the door, she made a disappointed face when she saw it was Ella.

"Bridget what the hell are you thinking?" Ella didn't have time to try and sweetly talk her way back into friendship. "Don't know what you're talking about." Bridget groaned, "You're going back to wonderland? Why? We still have 2 whole years here." Ella was following Bridget around her room. "What's the point of staying if nobody wants me here?" Bridget spoke with an annoyed tone.

"Bridget I know you're hurt, and I know you feel like it won't get better. But it will! You just need to stop ignoring everybody! Nothing will get better if you don't let others help you, you'll be stuck in this funk forever." Ella grabbed Bridget's hand to try and get her attention. "I don't want your help! I don't want anybody's help! I'm sick of being treated the way I've been treated." She pulled her hand away from Ella's.

"You know in a way I'm grateful for what Uliana did to me." Bridget turned away from Ella and looked at herself in the mirror, "She helped me realise something." Bridget felt a wave of power when she looked at herself, "People can't be trusted." She gave Ella a side eye when she said that. "You always said you get more with sugar than salt! You need to see the good in this B. Like you used to." Bridget fully turned back to look at Ella, "well I've learned that salt can be mistaken for sugar." She sat down in her desk chair as she said that.

Ella shook her head, trying to stop herself from crying. "There's nothing I can do is there?" Ella hugged her own stomach. "You had your chance to help me! Stop acting like your a victim Ella!" Bridget snapped, "You didn't care! You never cared! All you cared about was your stupid prince." Bridget felt anger start to overtake her. "I am so sick of you trying to 'talk me out' of what I believe now but you don't realise that you're the problem Ella! You're trying to make me out like I turned into this cruel person, but do you ever sit and think that you're the problem." Bridget stared at her sternly.

Ella just stood there in silence, looking down. She didn't mean for it to seem that way.. "Bridget I'm sorry.. I didn't mean-" Bridget just started pushing Ella out of her room, "I don't care Ella. Just leave! Honestly never seeing you will be a good benefit to returning to wonderland." Bridget slammed the door behind Ella. Ella felt like her heart shattered into a million pieces in that moment.. was that it? Was that seriously the last time she was going to see Bridget. She had lost her best friend and now she knew, it was her fault.

Hooks POV
Hook didn't want to show up to see Bridget empty handed so he ran to schools garden and picked a bunch of roses since he knew that was Bridget's favourite flower. He slowly made his way up to her dorm. He noticed Ella stood outside, her legs were shaking and he could tell by her posture she was crying.

"Ella?" He said, approaching her. Ella didn't say anything, she just walked the opposite way avoiding eye contact with him. Hook didn't have time to chase her so he just let her go, assuming she'd just go and cool off or go and find comfort in charming. He knocked on Bridget's door, she answered quickly again. Giving him a slight smile when she saw him. Hook looked at Ella who was still visibly slowly walking down the corridor, "Did Ella just come and say goodbye." Bridget's smile quickly disappeared. "She's nameless here." She rolled her eyes.

Hook walked into her room, "You can't stay mad at her forever." He sighed, "Oh yes I can." She laughed slightly. "You'll hate yourself for it eventually." He turned to her, Bridget didn't seem impressed with the conversation topic choice. "Okay sorry, nameless." He said, offering her the roses. She smiled again when she noticed them, "Pretty." She grabbed them and placed them onto her desk.

"I don't really want to say anything." He frowned, "why not?" She asked, he shrugged "I don't want to say goodbye." He looked down, Bridget walked over him. "It's not like it will be a forever goodbye.." she responded, Hooks face slightly lit up when she said that. "So you want to see me again?" He looked up and stared at her. "Why would I not want to?" She asked.

"I don't know.. I thought you were like trying to escape your life here." He crossed his arms lifting his hook up to his chin. She nodded, "I am." She responded, "but I don't have any reasons to escape you. You haven't done anything." She smiled at him, she turned around to look at clock. "I have to leave, my father has supplied me with transport and it's arriving in 5 minutes." Hook stopped her from leaving, "let me walk you down!" He said quickly offering his arm to her. She took it, he looked at her room noticing the bags.

"What about those?" He asked, she just started walking. "My father has also sorted those out as well don't worry about it." He looked down at her, his mind was overridden with thoughts. How long would it be until he saw her again? Did she actually want to see him again? Everything was happening so fast.

They made it down to the front of the school and her driver was there. Well this it. This was the last time he could see her in he doesn't even know how long. He turned her so she was looking at him. "I don't really know what to say now." He looked at her, he knew that she didn't really want to say goodbye to him either. "Me too.." she said looking up at him.

Hook just decided to lean down and kiss her, placing his hand in hers. He leaned back and smiled at her, they heard somebody get out of the car. "Bridget?" Hook turned and saw a man standing there. He turned back to look at her and she seemed more worried. "Oh uh-" she didn't know what to say. "Who's that?" He asked, not taking his eyes of Hook. Hook went to say something but Bridget slightly hit his stomach to stop him.

"Dad it's nothing." She said, that was her father? He didnt look like what he'd expect a king to look like. He wasn't formally dressed, nor trying to look as if he was important.
Hook still didn't want to embarrass himself infront of him though. "Bye James." She said, walking away. He waved at her, he saw her father give him a stern look before getting back into the car. He noticed Bridget start to argue with him as she also got into the car but he didn't want to intervene he just walked back into the school. He was trying to hide his sadness. As he walked in he noticed Ella was watching out of the window, she just looked at him when he walked in and left when she noticed him look at her.

Hook knew he had to get over Bridget soon or else he wouldn't forgive himself for letting her leave that easily..
