My footsteps echo as I search for the one thing that still keeps me anchored to this place. Winter.

The guards are weak. Just crush them against the wall and they're all dead already.

"Vinter?"

His eyes widen when he sees me. He's never seen me like this. Because I never was. Hydra always kept me like a bomb. Always ready to explode.

I let the shadows enter Winter's cell and blow it up from the inside. Winter easily breaks free of the restraints and follows me without hesitation.

We walk next to each other, our hands touch and I feel calm even though I'm more alert than ever. I know we'll have to fight, but maybe this time I can really let loose. As we enter a larger room, I become blinded by the sunlight. I didn't remember it being that strong. A second later Winter extends his metal arm towards me. Someone shot me. I give a quick nod and get to work. There are ten guards and I knock out five of them by kicking the ground and creating a hole under them. They fall a few floors and I turn to the other five guards.

"Minn meg på å aldri være din fiende," Remind me to never be your enemy, Winter says and I help him take out the other five guards. I start heading towards the stairs when I feel a strange vibration hit me. I grit my teeth and fall to my knees in pain. Someone slings themselves onto my shoulders and squeezes their legs around my neck, making me suffocate. As if that wasn't enough he starts hitting me on the head. I look around for Winter but he's busy.

With my last strength I get up and run against the wall. I think I broke some ribs, but the red woman rolls on the ground with me. I look at Winter who is struggling and hope that no one understands Norwegian.

"Vinter, jeg er i ferd med å gjøre noe dumt som vil redde livene våre, men jeg kommer nok til å besvime" Winter, I'm about to do something stupid that will save our skins, but I'll probably faint.

I punch the redhead's throat and try to calm down. I bring my hands together and intertwine my fingers with mine and close my eyes. I have to concentrate. I bend down and put my hands on the ground. I feel the shadows tingling over me and running down my hands. I channel them all to the ground and then get up. And about twenty human shadows rise with me.
