she moves them by their arms until they're deeper inside the alley for more secrecy.
now, lola had maintained her distance from percy for fear of accidentally hurting him incase she fell ill again. thankfully, she's recovered well and was still pretty healthy. so under different circumstances, the two demigods would've been really happy to see each other. but percy had just been attacked by laistrygonian giants and the purple-haired girl was dying to know how he managed to befriend a cyclops.
"percy, where did you find him?" she asks, glancing at tyson. although her honeyed voice remained as gentle as always, it was obvious that it no longer held the cheerfulness she had earlier.
