OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS, lola found comfort in her catholic faith. since the greek gods let her down multiple times ❪ no disrespect to the olympians... maybe just a pinch ❫, she put her life in the hands of her heavenly father. she'll admit, he might not be there when she wants him but at least he's always on time.
she knows heaven is wherever god is and whatever he has prepared for her who loves him. she also knows very well that people go to the underworld upon dying. she debated for months where she wanted to wake up at if she somehow died and in the end, she chose the underworld. she did say since she was a little girl that she wanted to reach elysium three times.
so when lola regains consciousness, she's startled to find darkness. she can hear gentle music playing, flowing in her ears and calming her heart. she can hear birds and distant waves crashing onto shore. her face is cool but she gets the warm feeling of sunlight on her arms and legs.
